Yeah I wish Gulley could sit down with Henry Morris off those 2000 - 2001 Central B-Ball teams. He was a big guard with a good mid-range game... If Gulley could work on his mid range game he would not need to shoot 3's! And he would be harder to defend on this level... All kids in high school think the game is about lay-ups, dunks, and threes.... The mid rang i a lost art!

It is not big news yet and I could notr see why! The sports casters always says tahat J. Brown didnt play but there has been no big story about it! I don't want to hurt the kids college chances (no more than he, himself already has) but this is good sports news... And you wonder why the BMT Enterprise never has good sports articles!

No one has raised this question. But the current win streak and a record of 7-2 without Jacovian Brown makes me wonder..... Are the Titans better without Jacovian Brown? They beat a really good Kingwood team... They are playing more cohesive basketball... The coach is able to be a coach now... It may be true! What do you think?

He is five foot eight, with hands, and he is as quick as a cat.... He plays with heart and has shown what he can do on the field! But I don't think he is ready to be a football player again. Lopez will give the district hell... I see at the most two more loses, but they could walk away with district!

The kids that start in the middle for central are 6'3" & 6'6" and the one off the bench is 6'8", we start two sub 6' guys and Gulley is 6'4" and then we have two sub 6' guys... The announcer did not call a Ozen player under 6', which was the PG's height. then there is 6'3", 6'5", 6'3", and 6'8"... We have a 6'8" and a bunch of sub 6' guards off the benceh... Ozen has two 6'5" kids and a big guard off the bench. Meaning Ozen is bigger!

yes he graduated from Elsik... but he went to middle school at Marshall... the post saaid from SET not graduated from SET.

LCM is overated... all year in football and basketball its always lcm has something... I haven't seen snything yet

best coached Calvin Rice game I have ever seen. good job coach. gulley is a man. central kids lost this game with missed 4th quarter shots. in the third with w. jefferson out of the game with foul trouble gulley was unstoppable on the block but the jags went away from that. that was the bad part of the game for central. the panthers weren't scoring and neither were my jags. jefferson made all the difference n the fourth and ozen won. jefferson is world class athelete. ran down 4 loose balls pass guards.. great speed for a big..

I don't know but I am proud of those lady Jags... Number 15 in the State!

You can't sue an NBA reference... Highschool is far from the same ever year... Players graduate every year and move on... In the NBA you can keep Dwayne Wade and his side kick for way longer than 4 years.... And High school players are still devloping into men.... And you cannot stock pile talent in highschool.. Completely limited crop, completely absurd analogy!!! Tabernalce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8)

From the AAU circuit I noticed the entire recruiting class of 2008 is down compared to the recent ones we've had... This years crop is THIS years crop and the kids played against THIS years best and won.. So miss me with all the down year talk too!

Crazy Stat of the day.... The last time Central beat Ozen, Perkins was a freshman! Central swept Ozen that season behind strong shooting from Dominique Young. The year was 2000. The following year Central dropped to 4A! So that is seven full years of getting beat by Ozen at least three times a year..... That means in at least the last 21 meetings we could not defeat the panthers... It won't start this year!!! Go Jags!

I am trying to tell the locals about Smiley... I saw them play and wqsa impressed!!! I feel sorry for the number three team in 22-4A who has to see Smiley in the first round!

Unlike those National Teams... Boutte doesn't get caught up in the frantic tempo that Jack Yaes plays at... Ozen will take on the press, get across half court, then swing the ball and make those Yates players run some more. Boutte will use their style of play against them... Ozen will be up early and the four corners will keep YATES CLOSE ON THE SCORE BOARD. This will be a physical game that will come down to free throw shooting and tempo. Whoever dominates those two stats will win this game. Right now I have more faith in Boutte than Wise! Ozen wins!
