I apologize guys... I will leave it alone and get back to football... Drake's comments are so stupid that it warrants no rebuttal!!!! I wish they would go the air more but the line has to protect Fobbs!! Historically Central has never mixed in plays well.... It seems as if every new coach we get is very good defensively and never brings the offense up to speed. I know the kids can learn more plays, the OC has to call them.. Enoch Dixon had a large offensive playbook but we ran the same plays every possession. Maybe one coach will try and change that trend... Wish we could get one of the WB coaches for an OC... They allways have had a great offense!

This is a rivary game so talent and coaching will be secondary... Both sets of kids want this game... Yes brook shut down Centrals scoring in the second half last year (if I remeber correctly Central fumbled on two potential scoring drive in the second half so they may have shut themselves down with mistakes). Central shut WB down the entire first half and WB did not just run the score up second half. But Just like the 94'-95' Brook team that team that was near bottom of district beat the playoff second seated Central team quite bad, anything can happen in a rilvary game! This time it will be my Jags... Good luck to both teams, no injuries just good old fashion football!

I did not say he had no heart any where in my post.... yes I am grown and all I said is that he did not want to be hit. The majority of qbs in the NFL duck hits and slide to avoid hits. Some of the ones who stand in there make big plays... I did not say the kid had no heart, I said he wanted to avoid the hits of some kids that I said did not takle well the entire game. There were no big hits from Central so I was only saying he could have probaly still made plays if he did not fall before the takler got to him. Now I love Central but I said the kids could not tackle... Is that saying they were scared, had no heart, or were soft? NO!!!!!!! That was real pannama... I was there... I really saw alot of potentail in the young squad from last year... that I did not see saturday.... Maybe it was a down game but I do expect them to get better. I do believe WB is a better team now and PAM is about on the same level as you are. I will be interesting in district. Watch your mouth with the ignorant statement!!! But Drake I just made an assesment from what I saw. I saw a kid ducking taklers... I may be wrong and that is fine... The kid is a good, smart football player so I can see him going to a good school to play. Excuse me for recognizing something from one game, my mistake but what is ignorant is your upset tone about one statement... grow up fool! I have a right to an opinion!

True Assessment about Central.... The takling was horrible!!!! The run is suspect.. I think we should run the ball for alot more yards. I hate that play where they raise the ball ll up, show it to the defense, then hand it off to the rb. hey loose a second or two on that hand off. Just give the rb the ball and any defense should stop that play with that much time lose. If that play continues it will constantly hurt us.... I think Fobbs focuses on the pass more... He is more of a pocket passer than Brandon and really can use all of the receivers (he will be a gem). The O'line does not move their feet and plays kind of lazy. Way too many offensive penalties and it got worse second half. Conditioning may have been a factor. Defense is strong even though I did not like when they stayed in the 3LB set on the spread. If Lee had fast slot recievers they could have put up big numbers. It is almost impossible to hold a receiver with a LB. The LBs are big but not as fast, I think they will be fine. The D-line is bigger but slow in the middle. It will be tough to attack the Jags middle on the run but it wont put pressure on the opposing qb either. The DBs are for the first time in school history the strenth of the defense. Smart, athletic, and good cover guys. I am dissapointed though because there were NO big hits, and the takling was horrible. Where are the head hunters? tackling got worse late game, again conditioning. Overall CHS we be fine once they refine some issues. Lee on the other hand needs some work. They don't look any better than last year except in the rb. The qb does not want to be hit and will go down in the site of trouble instead of making a play. The QB does have a arm and is pretty accurate. If Lee is going to run the spread it needs to take shoots down the field. The score may have been different if they did. The D is suspect but it seems like Stowers would not attack it.

I know Lee is nice but Central embarrassed them last year. I know Brandon beat them by his self last year with a 200 yd passing & 200 yrd rushing game but Central has not lost a step. I watched them this weekend, the qb is nowhere near as strong but the atheletes are there. And for a change Central is BIG for a small 4a!!! The size will suprise the ganders who have small LB's. Thomas is a big mon-star out the backfield that will rack up th eyards on the ganders. And when they go to the west virginia style Pat White and Slayton (Frog and Thomas) Lee will S#!t a brick! Central defense will do enough to slow Lee for a 31 - 21 victory!!!!!

What about Corey Valsin.... Way better than darrius!

fOR THE RECORD oZEN DID NOT BEAT sKIP AND dOOBIE.... 1999 DEFINATELY NOT THE FIRST YEAR OF ozEN... AND COULD NOT BEAT DOMINIQUE YOUNG, AND RONNIE DAVIS 2000. Perkins first year!!!! Since then Ozen has dominated the series even in coach Greens last year (2001 then he left for Memorial 2002!)

:oWestbrook was a strong power house before Central ever came into exictance (with one, the state championship '83 under thier belt). It should have been expected for Brook to dominate the trophy in the years afterward since Central was openned in 1987. Westbrook had the tradition and the refs. Alot of those 90's game were close and could have went either way. Westbrook has always had the deeper team and the better coaches so kudos to Brook for those wins. To this day Brooks enrollment towers over Central so they should be expected to win. Those Jags have enough fight to win this game so don't count them out. But overall talent and depth edge goes to the WB. ;D I had a strong hate for Brook for many years of grueling loses, but it was good enough to have at least one school represent the area!

I'm sorry BMTSoulja.... I am a die hard Jag... But do think the bruins need more 5A teams on their schedule. The BMT bowl has always been special but this is a new day. Brook has 2500 students compared to Ozen and central with 1700 and 1600 repectivily. Brook has the potential to be the pride of Beaumont on the State level this year. Central will be strong but not at Brook's level. Brook should win but it will be close because you can never count out a crosstown rival.

All the talent was thier for Dayton Last year and they could not pray a pass by any of Centrals DB's. I know they won the game but will the QB be any better? I say It will be Lumberton or Ned. However Lumberton will have a hard time beating anyone!

I've seen halls brother play some RB, WR, LB, and safety in a Jaguar Jersy. He is bigger than Hall and I believe he could be a man on the defensive side of the ball. But he is so gifted I can't see them trying to play him some on offense.

Listen... It was a warm-up game for the play-offs, no one was willing to risk injury to go all out in a warm-up game that wouldn't reflect on either teams record. I don't think Milby understood how well Kountze's players could shoot and thought it was going to be easy. I was there, and no way they played there hardest. I watched these guys in the National Acedemy Tournament in Aldine and they beat some of the best teams in the Nation. I saw them play hard and I know what it looks like. At the end they played hard because they refused to loose to a 3A school. But back on topic.... CHS with the "W" against HJ baby!

The WB will be strong with a lot of Junior Talent. The biggest two will be Lenard (?) and Donte Lopez. When these two guys have started together (back from Vicent) they are like 60 -2. They will be a strong combo. The WB team will be better than anyone knows. Now if we can just teach the coach how to coach!

Dave Campbell has Baytown Lee and Westbrook as the 1 and 2 team respectivily in their district. Everybody expects Lee to be a 5A powerhouse this year. Campbell also say that the Marshal/Michels backfield at Brook is the best combo in the state. So if my Jags can go [glow=red,2,300]1-1[/glow] in those two game it will be an accomplishment. If we go [glow=red,2,300]2-0[/glow] watchout 22-4A. ;D

I would like to give the local kids on Rashard Lewis' AAU Team congrats for making it to the elite eight of the NBA braket at this years Great American Shootout AAU Tournament in College Station. The kids actually lost to the eventual champions and if the ball bounced another way a few times they could have been the champions. I look forward to more success from this team of talented local kids this summer.

These kids are 18 yrs old and considered adults in TX. Yes he was in supervision, but of adults. They are seniors so no other punishment works because they are soon gone. Its better they learn a lesson now for disobeying before the police or some violent incident teaches them next. Yes there should be some type of punishment especially if the kids were under 17 (should be big if this were true), but the fact is both young men were of adult ages, acted like adults, so they got treated as adults.

I know the talent level is down at Central but they have not missed the playoffs in basketball since they have been in 4a and now you guys have them under Nederland?, LCM?, Vidor?, and Lumberton..... PLEASE save yourselfs the embarrassment and delete those post now.... You guys are incredible????
