  1. All of you Memorial fans are dreaming... WB in a blow out!
  2. I have been quiet all week but know it is time. My Jags (though I hate it) get bored (no disrespect to any teams) playing and seem to let the games get close for fun... ie, 28...0 at Nederland, 28...0 at LCM, 21...7 at Vidor, Lumbertonat home 17...0. Notice all these road games we jump out big. Against Dayton they won't get bored, they will play four quarters and they dominate. Win by 14 and show that 22-4a still has some pride. Daytons from a district we walk through in the bi-district every year and I hate they came in on a down year for this district. Dayton I know you guys have a great team but here come those Jags... J....A....G U.A.R.S. as I sing the hype song
  3. Ok, I see you are his frat brother and I admit I was a little hard on the man (and I dont want the omegas to jump me!!). He has had winning seasons every year he has been there and I like him as a person. He has done well and some years his talent level has not been up to par. I just want him to be himself... all the African American coaches inluding Rice play like they are Boutte(I can't stand his style of play... in state every year but no one goes to college because of a lack there of stats). If Rice would develop his own style I think I may enjoy him!
  4. The lumberton qb belongs on here
  5. geauxbroncos... no excuses just facts young man!!!
  6. You guys show too many emotions and feelings.... I tell you what! Someone will beat Dayton in this district... LCM, maybe Central. Central doesn't play well in games they believe to be easy, ie. Houston Sterling. Its like they only want the challenges. They thought Nederland would be a tough win and everyone played well. They thought Lumberton(no disrespect from me at all) and Sterling would be easy wins and played horribly. I think they learned a lesson at Lumberton and I hope they come to play against everyone the rest of the season. I thought this message board was Vidor vs. Central Predictions, not Lumberton vs. Nederland noise talking!
  7. He needs to move on... He needs to be moved on... He has no concept of playing to his talent. He has had guard oriented teams and tried to play a big mans game with them... I don't mind if he losing if he is playing to maximize his talent. You can't call a set up offense/defense on a team that is much larger than you are. He has had the team that strengths were to run and press and has not used that at all. He is a big man so I understand his lack of understanding of a guards game, but as a coach you need to learn and make adjustments. Coach Rice, love ya man but I think its time for a new way!!!
  8. BIG HOUSE!!!!???? How many Central Games have you watched... I wish they put drops on the Highschool stat sheets. They have all been hit and all have caught big passes across the middle... You must be kidding me about VIDOR??? We will see Friday!
  9. My team totally upset me with all the dropped balls... It was a perfect time to show that the Jags can compete with Dayton and they blew it!!! I still think Dayton came in lucky and caught our district in a down year. LCM or the Jags upset them... mark my word!
  10. I admit this catching thing was bad this past friday... But if you look at the stats this was the only game where balls were dropped so much... Usually the Jag receivers are sure handed. Central will bounce back and win big.
  11. OK! I will admit Lumberton had loads of heart. I really like # 24 he runs hard. And Lumberton has one of the snartest Qb's I have seen in highshool. That is where it stops. I dont know if there was a hang over or what but I have not seen so many dropped balls this year. Central dropped three times as many balls in one game as they have dropped all year. Trust that will not continue. Honestly consistancy is Centrals down fall. If half the catches were made Central would have scored at least 40. No desrespect to Lumberton but sometimes you play down to your competition, especially after a big win... you get the big head. Right now Dayton is the more consistant team and that gives them the edge. central needs discipline to go with all that talent!
  12. Come on... cut the bull... u all know lumberton doesnt have a chance in H E double Hockey Sticks!
  13. Let me start by saying A&M just picked up a guy last year that was 6'5" and atheletic (see Texas all American game). He is damn good. I am worried that williams will be a reciever or safety at TAMU (what a waste but he is not that good at taking care of the ball(nothing that good coaching would not correct)). Chaisson is a QB and is mobile; he is more of a Troy Smith pass first type. Chaisson has missed a game so Williams over all stats are better. Williams will win more games with his versatillity on the High school level. So I go with Williams and Chaisson a close second!
  14. dAYTON WILL POST UP BIG NUMBERS ON vIDOR BUT IT WILL BE CLOSE FOR A QUATER OR TOO. i CAN'T WAIT TIL THE jAGS GET A HOLD OF OVER HYPED dAYTON. i HATE THAT THEY JOINED THE DISTRICT ON A DOWN YEAR BUT i THINK THEY ARE STILL OVERHYPED.
  15. tO ANSWER THE QUESTION ASKED.... oZEN AND jASPER ARE THE BIGGEST DISSAPOINTMENTS THE AREA HAS HAD IN A WHILE.... mAYBE nEDERLAND SHOULD GO HERE TOO.!!?!?!?!
  16. Lumberton?????!!!!!!!!! You are joking right? The jags defense will set up camp in lumbertons backfield all night and who on Lumbertons defense will stop anyone on the Jags!?!?!?!?!?
  17. You all are living in dreams if you think your bounce back will start against Central this week.... Hope you all beat everyone els!
  18. Beat a subpar (suspect) Ozen Team now they are going to win district..... PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. I never see Brandon Williams the Central QB is never nominated. He had 350 total offense in week one. Now this week he has over 100 rushing and over hundred yards passing
  20. OK all these QB's though young are pretty good but Chip Ambres almost beat Katy the year they won state (again)! They had no defense at Westbrook so Chip just out scored everyone. Hell Texas A&M re-wrote the playbook just for him. He had scouts at our middle school games. He was the truth ... too bad baseball took him from the game... but going from HS to the league for a few million most be cool. And Charles is all fine and dandy... I love watching the kid but in HS Leeland McElroy was nasty. Keeny Ray Harrison was the man down in PA... slow as all out doors but had the best hands to come out of Southeast Texas.
  21. Don't get me wrong, Central is in for alot of trouble if you loose one player which is a WR/CB and your production falls like that. I can see if it was QB or a RB that gets the majority of the touches. Sterling should have been like playing a JV team. BUT in their average years Central has dominated Nederland (picked to win district and had high state polls) in their best years for some reason, i.e 2002 (47 to 7), 2003 (20-0). In the years were Central was at their worst; yes Nederland won. Blow out years against average Central seasons. At worst this is an avereag Central season... I am sticking with HISTORY... I am picking a blow out... Even with the lil' running back...
  22. Donte Lopez WR Westbrook. The entire game plan goes through him!
  23. Jaguar Fan here and proud of it!
  24. Dayton will have a hard time with this district. EVer since I can remember teams in their district have been considered good... Frirst round in bi-district our 3 team stumps their number one 9 times out of 10.
  25. Sterling vs. Central Dayton vs. Friendswood Kashmere vs. LC-M Jones vs. Vidor Nederland vs. Waller Lumberton vs. Bridge City Silsbee vs. PN-G Ozen vs. Seguin
