I thought somebody was gonna start a poll so we could vote. Wonder if anyone from the LU Athletic Dept. reads these forums... It's obvious that the current helmet isn't that well received.

I really like that 4th helmet. Very classy, look and it wouldn't show the scratches as much as the black. But, I still think the black looks more intimidating. 8)

That would look too similar to the University of Houston helmet.

All I can say is, "WOW!!" The black helmet rocks. I'm just thinking how intimidating that would look on the D-Line if they were also wearing black goggles.

I'm as thrilled as everyone else that football has returned to LU, but I hate the helmet. No offense to Bridge City High fans, but I'd like the LU helmets to look much different. Right now, it's still a little hard for me to see the differences. Some other posters had some pretty cool recommendations on either reversing colors, or incorporating some blue or black. Anyway, glad football is back.
