Did he get hurt?
no..he had a 10 game suspension so had transfered but it is now a 5 game suspension.
:o :o :o A 10 game suspension!

 3.
::)Its way to early in the season to predict a winner between these 2 teams. Heck no one has even scrimmaged yet. Sounds like LCM has a solid team returning as does PNG. Should make for a great game. So how many fair weather fans will LCM bring this year ? My wife is a LCM grad but...... now bleeds purple. Guess she got to PNG territory as fast as she could. One of the smart ones !!!! HE HE !!!! She supports the bears but goes crazy for PNG when we play LCM !!!!
Funny...the LCM volleyball/golf coach who has been dominating the district for the last couple years in both sports is a PNG alum but absolutely hates the Indians...and she is obviously one of the smart ones... ;)
 4.
CENTRAL LCM OZEN NED/PNG
You are a wise man my friend!
 5.
i think the passing game was there if we needed it,
Doty threw for less than 80 yards, most of which went to St. Clair on a couple passes in the flats, and he HAD 3 INTERCEPTIONS.  LCM couldn't stop Harmon, but was able to throw for 200+.  Bottim line, last year's game was one of the area's best last year, this year's will be very interesting. It was stupid to start this post anyway, the game's not for a couple months. How about everyone just do yourselves a favor and get off this post until early October? We're all being ridiculous; just a chance for everyone to show off their smack talk.
 6. So I guess nobody is really in to talking HIGH SCHOOL soccer on this board...
 7. So, just to make it easier for everybody: Ned              11-1 PNG              11-1 Central          6-6 HF                6-6 LCM              5-7 Ozen            2-10 BC                1-11
 8. LCM lost the big 6' 5'' sophomore center who had started on varsity his first year of playing organized basketball. Jordan Wells moved to Oregon over the summer.  This is very depressing news for Bears fans who were looking forward to a team that only lost 2 of it top 7 scorers.
 9. I see this district as pretty predictable...the top two are undisputable, as are the bottom two.  The only argumentable point that I see is, like always, the all-important 3-4 spot.  And WOS is losing a bunch.  I gotta say, I'm not being very brave when I call: 1. Silsbee 2. Hardin Jefferson 3. Orangefield 4. WO-S 5. Bridge City 6. Hamshire Fannett
 10.
Cale Hyde is back in BC and will be available for district play.
Did he get hurt?
 11. I said on Bridge City's preseason report that they are going to be legitimate.  Menard is a man-child, and will be that district's MVP as a senior.  They also have some very talented skill guys to get the ball to that contributed as sophomores last year. You saw it here first, BC will be in the top 2 in that district this year.
 12.
I agree with ya about the blowout. People Ive been talkin to are sayin PNG is the real deal this year and will far surpass what they did last year. Im thinkin more along the lines of a 35-0 type of blowout. PNG's defense is gonna be a force to deal with if my "insiders" are correct. Gonna be heck to score on em.
Oh, I don't think it will be that close.  I say, PN-G scores 49 points in the first 3 minutes and 34 seconds, then puts in the band.  Who then plays LCM to a standstill.  Final score 56-7 (tuba player fumbles a snap on the punt, LCM returns for a touchdown).  In fact, I have a feeling all of PNG's games will go this way.  They are simply way too good for any mortal team to compete with. No, seriously though, get over yourselves.  LCM was also in an entirely new system last year, and the PNG game should be during a very important stretch for the Bears.  Fortunately for the Indians, they play this game at home (again).  However, they still better bring their A-game, and don't expect Bertrand to have a video-game like preformance (a la Harmon), especially until you've actually seen him play a varsity game.  And to 19Cherokee90, they are both in the Central time zone, although your misunderstanding of how this works probably stems not from any fault of your own, but from the aforementioned carcinogens in the air affecting the way your synapses transmit signals to each other.

From what I was told PNG trashed your practice field . ;D
Thats what I also heard. ;)
Definately...I say 20-4A just gets together to file a massive grievance against the Indians
 14. Why is everybody's first scrimmage on a Saturday?
 15. GCM vs LCM on Thursday, then WO-S vs. Ned on Friday, then MCNEESE STATE UNIVERSITY VS. LAMAR UNIVERSITY ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!
 16. HEY!!!  Quit hijacking posts!!!
Thats carcinogens from Huntsman.
That is pretty funny though...
 17.
Went to watch my son put the pads on today and had trouble finding them. After sitting in my truck for about thirty minutes I finally decided to walk around the campus. I found them on the GAME FIELD. Back in my day that was off limits to practice. I asked my son why they went to the game field, and he said because the practice field was in bad shape. It had rocks, sticks, and asphalt coming up on it. I then asked why not practice on the other practice field which looked in great shape. He said that was reserved for the band. I fully support the band because my daughter was in it a few years ago, but they almost always practiced in the school parking lot. I personally think this is crazy that our boys have to practice on a non regulation field that has rocks an sticks in it. This is football for crying out loud. Can we please fix the issue.
Wow...that is terrible.  Probably started because some cranky band parents pitched a fit when their kids weren't getting the same attention and "fair treatment" as the football players.  Then, the school board fell to the pressure of said parent.  Or at least, that would be the explanation at LCM
 18.
While I agree they gotta reload at WR, the funny thing is, last year at this time who knew who Blake Reyenga was? He went on to have a pretty good season.
Yeah, but I believe Reyenga started his junior year.  It appears that PNG's receiving core (excluding Jalali) will all be coming up from JV (although the JV was highly competitive)
 19.
The past is the past and we are 0-3 Vs PNG not 20 4A :) All three games were close against PNG with the bigest margin being 14 points in the playoffs last year. Any who new year, new coaches and a better crop of kids I think BH will be back in the hunt.
No...they were 0-2 vs PNG...they also lost 35-29 to Lumberton.  But this year they play Lumberton, Nederland, and one more 20-4A if they make the play-offs.  So they have ample opportunity to redeem themselves!
 20. Rumor has it that he wasn't certified to be the P.E teacher.  So, of course, LCM is always strapped of cash (even when the economy is good) and couldn't afford to keep him as just the defensive coordinator.  He is now coaching at Port Arthur Memorial, where he will also be a hall monitor (a position LCM does not have).  He has been replaced by Alan Deshazo, [sic?] who was the outside linebackers  -"rover" in Bear terminology - coach last year, and will be the secondary coach as well as the defensive coordinator this season.  If I am not mistaken, he was also on the coaching staff for the 2008 team, but I ceremoniously burned my program immediately following that season...
 21. Do they have the district predictions in there (and if so, can someone list 20-4A)
 22.

LCM's varsity has more kids than it has in a while; last year they had 12 seniors this year's team looks close to 20...Coach Crouch has done a good job both in keeping the multi-sport boys in football, as well as winning some over some of the south Little Cypress kids from WO-S (WO-S is an open district, while LCM cuts off at about I-10.  Earl Thomas and James Haynes, for example, both lived in Little Cypress but went to WO-S in high school)
Just call'em beggars, robbers and thieves. ;D Just kidding guys. I am quite sure lots of kids in that area want to play at WOS.
haha I'm not accusing them of anything, I'm just pointing out that Coach Crouch has done a good job of getting some of them to play for the Bears
 23.

I could be wrong but this might be the 1st year WOS in 3A isn't mentioned as a potential State Champion. With that said, you might see them make it back to championship game.
Admin, the potential is definitely there, but it has been there a couple of times since we dropped. Hopefully, they will put it all together.
Yeah, it seems like very little has been said about WO-S this offseason, especially in comparison to the last two years.  It will be very interesting to see how they handle the nonconference schedule.  That being said, I'm going with Nederland (of course, I've picked Nederland for the last two year, and you can see where thats got me)
 24. Speaking of video highlights, does Fox 4 have a website?
