1. Scott Vaughn doubles. LCM dominating... LCM 4 KP  3
2.
i've got lcm
I can definately see why Vidor would go with LCM ;D
3. Does anyone have Doty's stats from last year?
4.
Ozen should be much improved this year.....
Would you care to elaborate?  Not being rude, i'm just curious...
5. Who were the other seniors they lost at defensive back?
6. So if LCM wins out and Vidor loses to Nederland, then who gets third place?
7. Yeah, two years ago-the last time Dayton was in the district-they were not very impressive.  At least when LCM's frosh traveled over there they were not
8. Everybody: we really shouldn't be underestimating Bridge City...they have ALOT of juniors back and you can ask any LCM fan how big that soph to junior difference is...not that I have a horse in this race, I'm just warning everybody.  That team was play-off material last year, and now, with Menard at qb...spoooooky...
9.
I look for LCM to be very similar to the Vidor team last year. Both had a lot coming back from not very good teams. Vidor got in the playoffs and I look for LCM to do the same.
I don't see LCM anything like Vidor.  Vidor runs, and has for some time now, an outdated strictly ground-oriented offense.  And outside of the offensive line, they didn't really have any stand-outs. Now take LCM.  In their first year in a pass-happy spread offense, they showed remarkable improvement.  They are significantly faster than Vidor (going to regionals in 4x1 and 4x2) and have a stud quarterback and stud receiver.  Probably b/c having to practice against this offense, the pass defense was definately above average last year, and should be significantly better this year.  And look for the problems at linebacker to be fixed. While Vidor returned more starters, LCM returns more game-changers and has enough speed to compete in the 21st game. My diagnosis:Top 3 in district
10.

Bears are going to win the disrict Championship. IMO ;D
In a sport???                                                  chill....J/K
Well we did miss out on district sweepstakes (1st place) for UIL academics by only a couple points this year...
11. LCM jv won 4-5 games (i went to all their home games i just can't remember everything) they were decent especially considering having 6 sophomores on varsity and playing in a new pass-happy offense, something that younger levels tend to struggle with.
12.
Vidor had livingston and crosby scheduled in the pre season.  Crosby dropped them, and the UIL put Livingston back into their distict.  Those two teams along with Texas High would have been three 4A playoff programs.  They filled in with a very good Kirbyville team that could not find games and Bridge City who should have a great year.  I think Vidor wanted to play bigger schools just like you, it just didnt work out the way we wanted,
Why would you consider Livingston a 4A playoff team?
13. I personally am disappointed that PN-G doesn't have an indoor football stadium...yet... ;D Also how much will this indoor facility cost?  I know that LCM baseball often has to practice in the old basketball gym, soccer and softball practices are often forced to be canceled due to rain, lightning, etc, and football practice is also very difficult in a basketball gym...I definately see the advantages of an indoor facility, and i don't imagine that one as simple as what was described by the PN-G school board would be too terribly expensive
14. It will be interesting to see what silsbee should look like in the passing game this year with the departure of Jeremy Johnson...
15.
1. Nederland 2. Central 3. PNG 4. Vidor 5. Livingston 6. Ozen 7. Lumberton
Ha were you waiting for someone to point out you missed LCM so you could trash-talk? Really, what is with you dissing LCM on every thread you comment on?  Seems to me like someone has a childish personal beef-am i right?  And don't bother denying it, b/c i have two other posts i can bring up.
16.
kelly bball u ap?prently didnt see caugya play they got 3 d1 signees for football that culd all play bball did u even go to the state tourney
And you have apparently not seen UCONN play.  They have the best girls talent from around the country, AND THEY ARE IN COLLEGE.  Think about how much more practice they have had, their shooting, passing and defending ability.  Maya Moore!  And Geno!  Cayuga is a 1A school.  Sure they absolutely blew out some of the teams they played.  So could Nederland, Ozen, even LCM and Livingston. Cayuga isn't  even in the league of some of the best 4A teams in this area.  Do not underestimate how big of a difference classification makes in basketball.  And quit dissing girls basketball.  Every single one of those UCONN girls is a flat-out outliar.  Being honest; how many boys for Cayuga could play big-time D1 ball.  NONE
17.
Goose Creek Memorial (7-4), Lost to Central in bi-district Caney Creek (0-10) Nacogdoches (3-7)
thanks!
18.
with dionte at qb he will by far have the best supporting cast now as far as the line goes very questionable except big ben
who?  in particular who will be rb
19. Not at the game, but the radio just said: Mid 3rd LCM 3 Vidor 0
20. LCM's pre-district opponents are Goose Creek Memorial, Caney Creek, and Nacadoghes.  Don't know much about them; just wondering how they did last year, what they have coming back, any key players, etc...
21. Notice all 4 of those quarterbacks were starters last year.  Include livingston, vidor, and you have 6 senior returning quarterbacks next year.  Should be best year in 20-4A for qbs in a while
22. Forget predictions, does anyone have the score.
23.
After what Nederland did next year, They should be in the playoffs next year. Central P.N.G Nederland Ozen LCM
Ozen ahead of lc-m?
24. Wow, back to back years with nederland and png away...
