[/quote] Silsbee kept all the Freshmen together last year.  WOS had some on JV.  And Jasper had them all spread out.  Three on Varsity?  You are right on .

While working at SISD Ira continued to go to school and got his degree.  He has worked a full time job that requires around 70 hours a week.  Gone to school at night and summers.  Raised a family. And coached in a way that makes boys into men.  Who in their right mind can say they wouldnt want a person like that leading their child?  He set his goal and is working hard to get it.  Determination. If Silsbee hires an interum coach and gives Ira one year to get certified, I am ok with it.  If your not.....dont care....go sit on an egg. :D 

Bridge City wins by 7.

They need to go ahead and give it to Mackey.  I told them I couldnt come out of retirement.

I know things change over time.  Kids get bigger some find other interests.....but WOS, BC and Silsbee all had tight games years back for this age group.  Put in a Orangefield team with a ton of starters returning.....its going to be fun to watch.

Watched it.  Nope.  Jasper didnt do one thing wrong.  It looked like they are a working hard over in Jasper.  Short clip.... but it looks like he is on top of everything.  I like the way he talked.  Good luck this year Jasper.  Make it a loss against Silsbee again this year. ;)

Believe me......there is at least one player on the Silsbee team that wants him to play.
