Don't start this to early GoneSouth.... When you said LCM "ran over" Silsbee......Are you sure your not thinking about Vidor. Didn't Vidor "run" the ball 99% of the time? One pass right? We don't know the real story about both teams yet.

Its good to see the Orangefield Bobcats wanting to play football! Orangefield and LCM have a tad bit more enthusiasm than last year for sure!

Yes. Last year when we played LCM, it was sad. I was a fan from Silsbee that felt bad for the town of LCM. As a Dad I also was concerned for the safety of the LCM players.....Not any more. They are on the right track. Enthusiasm does a lot for a team and town. After the game I saw LCM parents smiling....they had good feelings for and about their kids. Good to see. With that said...GO TIGERS!!! LCM STINKS!!!

If you pay for a service and don't get service you find a way to get your money back. You might have been hesitant in doing so, while you played there, but you aren't now. Get your money. 600.00 here 600.00 there YADA YADA!

Field use by the youth teams are usually allowed by the School Districts because it is for the community...Little or no charge in most cases if the organization takes care of the field. If they don't take care of it...it cost more. Some Districts charge way to much even if its for their own kids. Try coming up with 1200.00 a day, for some youth leagues, and still not be able to use the lights. Use of a field for profit or other than "comunity use" is different story. They don't have to care if it isn't for the benefit of the community... sad but true. Even if the money raised goes towards the community in the long run.

They are just having a little fun. Don't worry about it Skip. This years game is going to be a fun one to watch. When the actual game comes around, both teams will think they are going to win. I love it.

I was going to say the money was spent on busing the kids home after athletic events....but that would be mean. Bad for the Tigers. You will find out a lot of the School Districts are going to try to gig you. Sad but true. I hope you find a Texas town to play in.

Go back and watch some of the interviews with some of the coaches this year. Half had stated that they would like to "just" get into the playoffs.....or..If we win these three....we are in. I don't agree with setting your main goal as "just" getting in to the playoffs. How can you win in the playoffs or win the District Crown if your starting goal is to be 2nd or 3rd best? You wont. First goal, win district. Tell your kids to be the top team. If there is a top dog in your district, knock them into 2nd place. You cant go into the playoffs, until District play ends so... end District play on top. Remind the kids that there is a Hump out there.....But put on your hiking boots on the 1st day, and get climbing. The game is more important to the climber.....Silsbee.
