Some of our kids in Silsbee actually live more than 10 miles from the school(Caney Head), they manage. I saw 2 boys- 13 miles- 4 days a week during summer on their bikes to work out at the school ;D. Caney head pride baby!!!!! ;D :

One step at a time. I agree 2A to 5A is a huge jump. It will happen though if he continues what he has been able to do in Kville. LCM would be getting a good one. He has done a fine job in K-ville. Alot of 3-A schools were glad K-ville went down. I just wonder how long he would be staying.

Can anyone tell me why Alvarez is wanting to move? I'm not slamming LCM....but if he is wanting to move up or continue to move up, why not to a 5-A school? Is he wanting a new challenge? Why?

After 10 years I finally went to a full night of Silsbee B-Ball. The freshman team played great team ball. Good D and fine passing. All the J.V. players have motors that just don't quit. They all play hard. It was good to see the Varsity team not loose their cool when they were down. ---I flat out loved the three's! There is no fear in any of those young men.--give me the ball...I'll make it. I believe Ill go to a few more games. I'm a fan now.

If you are a truly "concerned parent", you will pick your kid up or get your kid picked up.
