[/quote] Everyone heard the screaming at the game to run the ball.  It came after a pick or a ball that didnt get caught.  What does that normaly say.....bad QB.  It was took that way by a few individuals. I have seen other towns talk about it on the site...and it is directed at the player. You dont want to hear that about your kid or friend so your first instinct is to put a blanket over them. But the real meaning of the shouts from the stands was.....run the ball.  The tigers have the ability to run the ball when they put their minds to it.  If you have a QB that is off.....you run the ball.  WR's off...run the ball.  It wasnt directed at the QB's. It is a team game.  If one is off...use another of your fine tools. The rolling of the eyes, the screaming was directed at the staff.    Thats what I think.  Seen it happen before.

It looks like they are bashing QB's.  I dont think they are. You cant put [b]any[/b] backup QB that has as little of snaps as this one has,  and expect to be abe to toss the ball around 35 times.  I dont care how good a person or athlete he is....if you make him toss the ball that much it will hurt him and the team.  Not his fault at all. At the begging of the year the coaches said that didnt want the Soph to feel that he has to win the game.....but they did just that to both of them last night.  A soph with 8 years playing time as a QB or a Senior with one year of playing time as a QB.....three years ago.  Run it!  Our QB's are fine.

It is ok to be ugly and win.  Dont give up on ugly if it works or if it is who you are.  The good thing about the Tigers is that this group of young men care.  They want to perform well.  They know they lost.  They know that they dont want that feeling again.  I dont see them laying down after this one ......Good group.

Yep....Silsbee BC game.  Soulja didnt even list it!  I guess he cant stand the fact that a couple of 3a teams might be able to beat his kitty cats. :D

Just a question...so dont hammer me! ;D  When Coach Crouch left....did the production drop a little? I am not saying anything bad about Coach Forman.  I know that the kids and WOS family liked him.  So his coaching abilities must me top notch.  But from the outside it kinda looks like the production somewhat went down after Crouch left. Give Thompson time.  You have to give him a couple of seasons.

I have not seen BC play this year.  I do know they like to throw it around.  Silsbee has not faced a good throwing team this year.  This is the only question for me.  I see scores for them or two to three INTs for Silsbee. Would I pick our players over their guys to play a game?......yes.  So Silsbee wins it.

Great game by both teams! It wasnt a track meet this year by far.  Congrats Tigers!  Good luck to Orangefield!  By the scores tonight......this will be a fun season for both teams.  I agree with the post about the coach of the year.  He brought them to play and they played with big hearts.
