I know that Coach Peveto will  land on his feet somewhere.  He is too good of a man and coach.  I will support him and his family wherever.  I enjoyed coaching him in high school and see him mature into a very responsible coach. Good Luck and thanks for all the memories.

Really?  This is not the NFL?  Glad I'm not making the decisions anymore.  When you have two good QB's, there is always room for second guessing.  Hope both of them do well. 

From what I read about last weeks game, Silsbee has a QB controversy.  The Drake kid did a very good job of running the offense.

I just looked at the 4A district rankings in the KOGT wedsite and Vidor wasn't listed.  Does Vidor not exist in Orange County?  Unusual.  Any answers?

I don't like all the rumors and speculations concerning the coaching staff at OF. Gee Whiz, no one knows for sure what is going on. Hope they get things straighten out. There are a bunch of good kids that work hard to be athletes in Orangefield. We have never been known to have a ton of talent, just kids that enjoy the game and work hard. Let's let thing play out and don't do too much speculation that is going to totally injure the program. If you don't know, then don't talk like you do. It's detrimental for all.

Just curious about the number of Asst. Coaches teams in the area have. Does more mean better teams or quality?

Back in the old days, Anahuacs' stadium turf was one of the best. Kept the grass cut short because of their speed. It was like playing on a golf green. Only problem was that mosquito control would come by during pregame and spray. Couldn't hardly breath. Didn't seem to bother Anahuac any though.

I would like to see Celina and WOS play against each other.

I understand that he is being inducted tonight. Got some e-mails from former teammates about it. One said our defensive line should go and touch him, they did't the entire championship game. Thought that was kinda funny. Congrats Steve.

One of the problems I have with the article is the fact that the newpaper labeled them as football players and not students. I always thought that they were students that happened to play football. Kinda gives the indication that only football players or athletes do these types of things. I guess they had to get and eye catcher to get people to buy their papers or watch their newscast. Seems like good things i.e. athletics, get blackeyes all the time, other stuff doesn't mean anything.

I can think of a couple. Theresa Witherspoon of West Sabine and Barbara Hickey of Orangefield. One won a Olympic Gold Medal. The other went Pro from Lamar.

Weak Regions??? How can the 3A Division I Champ (Prosper) and the 3A Division II Finalist (Celina Bobcats) be in the same district (only 6 miles separate the two towns) and it be considered a weak region? Go Bobcats!! CHS Class of '69

I fish TB quite regularly but sometimes have a problem finding bream beds. Does anyone have an insight as to finding bream beds. Need some advice. Thanks
