I just spoke with Mr Tolbert he did infact have a long TD pass of 89 yards against South Park he said the ball actually traveled 76 yards through the air. A record that is still held at Vidor till this day. He did note that they beat South Park at there own home field. Was a pleasure talking to the former Vidor QB. I asked Mr Tolbert how he could throw the football so hard he said; Son after school and on weekends I slung railroads tyes all day long working on the railroad thats were I gained my throwing strength from. He also said he threw a pass so hard it caused his WR to fall to the ground. This was very enjoyable discussion Thankyou Mr Tolbert for you time

Have any of you guys ever heard of a QB that played at Vidor and had a really strong arm rumor has it he threw the ball 82 yards Im trying to verify this. His name was Marrin Tolbert he played back in the late 60s to early 70s  not exactly sure

I once saw a QB last name of McKnown from Jacksonville throw a ball 72 yards while laying on his back and hit a moving reciever in the face mask so hard it stuck and the reciever ran in for a touchdown while it was still stuck in his mask.  True story honest real honest.

I wondered how Friendywoods would turn out with some key graduates last season. Looks like they got alot of work to do lots of tough games ahead.

I expected a good game with a Nederland win i was right but not by much.

Only seen one scrimmage this season and it was PAM/PNG I think if PAM is as good as they are supposed to be then PNG looked good against them. Is this a surprise??
