This is not the same team Nederland had last year. There defense is on a whole other level from last season. There QB is more experienced. They have a really nice recieving core. Im still unsure of there running game. The coach from Nederland I spoke with didnt mention there running game. If the Nederland team last season had a defense that could slow down the run and the big plays they would have been real good. This defense should help that problem alot.

Mine would have to be any team that beats Friendswood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fellas I was JK about noone winning the scrimmage. Its not winning its good and bad better or worse ans so on.

PN-G coaches were at the Ingleside/ Gregory Portland scrimmage. I believe it was Saturday. I heard it was a 1-1 on scores on the simiulated portion of the scrimmage.

I heard they wanted to name it the C.A. "Butch" Thomas Educational Support Center but were then threatened by a certain school district for logo rights violations. Thus taking the name the Reliant Educational support Center. Yes I know the name is of lesser quality but its kinda catchy.

I can't believe some of the off the wall predictions Im reading. After what Dayton did to WOS I would not get to carried away with my predictions. Nederland on the other hand had a good scrimmage against FB. I was told by a Nederland coach that they have much more depth this season than last. Especially on defense. I look for a good game. Nederland should win this.

PAM and PNG wil have a sort of alphabet bowl scrimmage friday that can help clear up #3 although they will not have a winner out of this game as it is only a scrimmage.

[/quote] You better learn your SETX football Nederland has never been known for speed. They are and always have been more of a well coached physical style team. They have also been going through a slump athletic wise. I remember watching a Nederland team dismantle Friendswood back about 10 years ago  over at Rice in the playoffs.

I could use a go between with a certain guy who knows all when it comes to HS football. Ill not say any names. I will give you a hint. He knows it all and he is from a town that has a football team who beat Central in the playoffs last year but did lose 3 count em 3 regular season games. This team will win the State Championship this year though. Also in 2011 and 2012 and on and on and on.........................They are just that good. ;D
