I know this may have little bearing on HS football. But, my boy played Pop Warner in SA about 5 years ago, every military kid was an excellent athlete. I don't know why but they were.

I am not sure how that works but, I ain't gonna call it a loss. The Vidor was as good as over in the 1Q it was 22-0. Since they don't reschedule JV games how do they determine the records?

It all depends on what Nederland does against Lumberton, I think. It is either Div. 1 against Galena Park or Div. 2 against Crosby.

Does that mean Lumberton and Dayton's JV tie for District?

I just think it is a discredit to the teams that are normally weaker in this district. As well as Dayton, we are good team this this year and should be for at least the next 2 or 3 years. Like I said before the playoffs will show the strength or lack there of in this 22-4A district. If we(22-4A) can make a good showing it will tell alot.

Finally somebody gives a reason other than 22-4A is down. In the Week 10 Preview Show about 22 or 23 minutes into the show Jordans states the case for 22-4A and I agree. The usually weaker teams are up. The playoffs should determine if the district was weak or not, ultimately.

It would be nice but, they have to build brackets for the state playoffs. You have to have a certain amount of teams to fill the bracket. UIL sets the amount per district and they go from there. You can't limit it to teams that are at or above 500 or any other set record. If that was the case alot of teams would get a bye in game 1 of the playoffs, becuase they would have no one to play, possibly... Also in tough districts the records for district could be close and maybe only 1 team above 500. That would ruin your local districts chances of making a showing in the playoffs. Bottom line is you gotta fill the bracket and they base that on district records.
