[/quote] You make a good point, but the Dayton JV was there and they did lose. BH has got some big ole boys on JV, they executed that offense pretty good, I think. Pretty sure thats the way it is supposed to work. Entertainment wise it's akin to getting a root canal, it was very effective though.

Well I watched the freshman game and it didn't seem to bad. But, after one half of the JV game I have come to a conclusion. I would rather watch competitive chess than this BH offense.

Ease up liltex. The defense played fundamentally well. They held a very athletic offense to 24 points and capitalized on Ike's mistakes. We had a few bad plays on both sides of the ball, but this was an impressive showing overall.

BH exploded into 4A their first year, they were prime for it though. It all lined up just right that season, I love it when that happens. The truth is BH has talent every year and their boys play hard. I still don't like BH but they have my respect with a good start this year.

Listening on KSHN, our announcers haven't said one players name on defense. Apparently Angletons RB and recievers are just tripping and falling because not one tackle or who made it has been announced. >:(

[/quote] Well said, Cougtalk. I understand the frustration with it if you don't have the coaching or athletes to pull it off, which may be some of J.T.'s issue with the spread.

I was one of the pollsters last year so I can that it isn't easy to rank the teams each week. That said Crosby did win and I have agree that PNG should not be ranked above them. But, it is just a poll that means very little in the long run, really absolutely nothing.

Nederland is a much better team than Lumberton but BH is a much more balanced team than Nederland. As much as I hate to say it, BH will win by at least 7 points. Lumberton gave BH every chance to completely dominate last Friday, the score should have been 49-6. Lumberton couldn't move the ball but I'm not sure what defense they could move the ball on.
