While USC is very attractive, I think Tulsa is a better fit, he needs playing time, a real chance to start week in and week out. We'll see the stats we expected providing he gets a good chance to settle in.

I would imagine that the realignment will include a new Houston area 3A district. I believe they have been wanting to address the small HISD 4A school issue for a while. Their reason for staying 4A I think was travel expense issues. Since there will be at least 4 or 5 they can proably justify a new district.

We get suckered into the idea that, Money equals Higher Quality Education by using our kids as the victim or recipient. Truth is you shouldn’t have to pay a teacher more to do a better job. We are all feeling the pinch of a poor economy right now, in the private sector, businesses have had to cut back to stay afloat. The public sector should have cut back first, since the private sector pays their salary. I am not anti-teacher at all; I appreciate and see the value in their profession. The answer is not in cutting out the activities that make kids want to be at school. I am weary of people who want to cut teachers and/or extracurricular activities first. There are a lot of other places you can cut first.

Returning starters mean alot if they were a good team last year. The whole team could be coming back and if they finished third last year they'll probably finish 3rd again. Thats when the quality of the other teams in the district factor in, and thats why we play the games.
