I am on a new lease around Alto and I saw a doe, my son saw a 4 point and a doe. We are the only ones on the lease and we didn't have time to get up there before opening weekend. So opening day we put up a couple of tree stands and a tripod. Threw out a little corn and saw deer that Sunday morning, I was pretty encouraged. We also put out 2 old game cams we checked them 7 days later. I reluctantly put out some Deercane at the request of my 13 year old, the doe is pawing at a spot on the ground where we poured it. I am sure a turf field was the deciding factor, regardless of the weather field condition won't be factor.

I believe he was abusing his power of law enforcement because more than likely he was a nerd back in the day and now he gets off to it. It's called a power trip. I don't believe that game wardens have that hard of a job I can name 20 people right now that would trade in a heart beat. Sounds like he's a bad one, in general Wardens are respectable and good guys, most are hunters too. As long as you are respectful usaully they lighten up but they never know what kind of people they are approaching. So if they are sharp or short at the onset it is to be expected. Like i said usually the lighten up. As far as trading jobs, not me!
