  1. PNG Nederland Central Ozen I think you are under estimating Vidor. ;D And dude, work on the screen name, surely you can come up with something better than "Vidor.is.underestimated".
  2. Looks like some of the O-line should be gettin scholarships, if they weren't all under 225lbs.
  3. Maybe the poll should be titled, "Which team will get the worst beating by WOS?"
  4. I thought that the past 2 years Vidor was right on the verge, they always play hard good hitters. Maybe this will be the playoff year for ya'll. The top 4 could be Central, Vidor, Nederland, and Ozen.
  5. This was my prediction at first, I wold like to change it a little. If H-F has a good D-line and can hold L-towns RB's or at least slow them down they will have a chance. If H-F has a decent secondary they won't have to worry about Lumbertons passing game. If H-F doesn't have a good D-line then that is another story Beard and Hannah will run all over them. They are some big ole boys that don't like to go down. Again if H-F has a stout D-line then they will win by 7, providing their o-line is decent as well.
  6. Come on texans don't get'em stirred up again. I think reality was just about to sink in.
  7. I agree with you. I am not saying that they are preparing to win a scrimmage, I know they don't watch films and scout the other team. I'm saying that the outcome is important. Not on your record, but on how your team has progressed. If it were just practice then why go thru the trouble of arranging and playing them in all kinds of conditions like we have the last few weeks. If the outcome doesn't matter, then why do it at all? Why risk having players injured? It's because coaches need to see how they stack up against someone else and how they perform against that team matters, it matters a lot. See Gasilla, this is what I have been talking about all along. It matters how the team performs, not if they "win" or "lose" the scrimmage. I agree with that, I am just glad we out performed Lumberton. ;D
  8. So it is funny to you that ya'll got rolled over in a scrimmage, because that is what happened. Based on what happened Sat. I won't be expecting a whole lot of district wins either. I won't say that ya'll don't have talent on the field because you do, but it seems one demensional right now. Lumberton has some hosses on the field there is no doubt. Saying your team is good means no more than a scrimmage score, you have to prove it on the field. That didn't happen Saturday, first string, second string, what ever the case. By the way I have the utmost respect for the Lumberton players and coaches. They made a good run last year and they always play hard, the majority of the flack that the team catches is due to a few dimwitted fans who spout off dumb comments and rediculous claims. We all have'em L-Town just seems to have a few more than everyone else.
  9. Thanks and you are right about the the 3 man d-line they have combined weight of less than 600lbs.
  10. Well I guess it be Lumberton vs. The New England Patriots in the Superbowl this year. By the way thanks for taking it easy on us this morning.
  11. #35 is Payton Ploch and I was impressed as well. He did a great job and made some got catches(took some hard shots after he caught it). Scored twice, also displayed a little open field speed.
  12. whoops! PLEASE you're not being a very goodsport... it was just practice!! Beard and hannah will carry the load for lumberton. those two looked real good. I agree Beard and Hannah looked good, big strong and ain't scared to hit. The problem is they couldn't seem to get anything else going for them. It looks to be tough season for the Raiders, either that or Dayton is just that good.
  13. sorry I missed the end of the sub-varsity. The varsity is about to start.

  18. Tarkington and Somebody are scrimmaging in Dayton as we speak.
  19. I agree, regardless of the outcome tomorrow I hope Dayton will see Lumberton down the road in the playoffs. I agree that is our only chance to play a real game is if we both make the playoffs. Here is to Lumberton having a great season, so we can end it in the playoffs.
