C.E. King is Sheldon ISD but it would probably closest for them. I don't know if King could handle that many more students it ain't very big. That would make them 5A for sure.

Dayton Coaches think its on Friday. They just need to get it straightened out either way.

I think his point was, the scrimmage is in Dayton so they should know the date and time since they are hosting it.

Coaches have been complaining about the high-low(chop block) for years. This new rule is going to ruin some schools blocking schemes. :-X ;D

I was told the wos/dayton scrimmage would be 8/15.

I am not going to predict an HF win however the HF underclassmen went 9-1 last year and beat WOS. That coupled with the players they have returning will make the outcome allot closer than 3 TD's. Maybe.

No way, Lumberton will get to work a lot of underclassmen and try some things in this one. Lumberton by 3 TD's easy.

My wife says I leave to early too, man it looks like we are in the same boat. My boy is a senior this year so maybe she will be a little more excited about getting there this season.

I went to a game in Plainview a few years ago and the home side was packed and 50% of the visitors side was Plainview fans. I am sure some schools wouldn't have a problem with this.

I read the sign in front of the school across from Summerwood yesterday and it said HS #6. Humble ISD site says there's going to be Fall Creek and Summerwood HS. I think Fall Creek is the Cardinals and they haven't came up with a mascot for Fall Creek. To many kids and not enough tax payers. Shows how much I dont know........ Ha I know that they are talking about trying to pass a thirteen cent tax for the schools in Humble to stay in the black. They are between twenty and thirty million in the red. How'd they get that deep? I thought WOS was the only one with bad money managing! LOL Ha They use bond money to build these skewls but to operate much different story. Yea there are many skewls that will be in the red this year and Huffman is no exception.

Livingston is bad, I went there for a JH game about 5 years ago and we filled it up.

School pride is great but good coaches can win almost anywhere, and for more money what coach wouldn't change colors and better his standard of living. I am sure his family comes first. He has done a good job at Lumberton, but longevity is the true test. If he can keep winning he will get offers. Diamond -J is right, the LISD has to appreciate him as much as the fans do.

I say WOS, Nederland is going to have trouble completeing passes against them. WOS by 2 TD's.

Most of those polls I think are based on last years playoff run. It doesn't make any sense, but does anything these days. How can they base this years team on last years achievements. It may work in the pros but with college and HS players change every year. I like the ranking but all it really does is put a bullseye on your team.

Dayton or BH will probably have to move out that way next realignment.

Port Neches-Groves is bad (and will be worse this year) but Vidor has some of the worst available parking IMO. When we played at PN-G I think I had to park in Nederland. ;D

It is a shame, but Dayton has lots of boys eager and fully capable of filling any vacancies this may have left.
