  8. Smiley is at 1115 Forest Brook 923 Total--------2038 Which would make it a big 4A, although the numbers will drop before next school year if they merge. It is my understanding that they can't get along and a merger would be a bad learning environment.
  9. I know one thing, those Kingwood Park girls ain't joking. They smoked everybody.
  10. Trinity Valley Relays to start at noon Friday by Roy Besch, Sports editor Liberty welcoming 16 schools for its annual track and field competition After getting first-meet jitters out of the way last week at Anahuac's Panther Relays, the Liberty Panthers prepare to host its Trinity Valley Relays, set for Friday, Feb. 29. Approximately 16 boys’ and 15 girls’ teams will take part in the noon start for field events. The 3200 meter run will start at 1:30 p.m., with the remainder of the running events to follow. In addition to the host Liberty teams, some of the schools expected to participate include Dayton, Jasper, Kirbyville, Diboll, Hardin, Anahuac, Hamshire-Fannett, Bridge City, Splendora, Shepherd, Coldspring, and Cleveland. (This sounds like better info.) [Hidden Content]
  11. Yes, he was part of the 4x400 relay team and is this year as well.
  12. I will miss the big crowds and fans. There are only about 2 teams in this other district with a fan base. Crosby and BH and I would imagine the 2 new schools(Kingwood Park and Goose Creek Memorial) will do better than those East Houston schools.
  13. Trinity Valley Relays Set for Feb. 29, 2008 Trinity Valley relays will be run on Friday February 29 at the LHS track. 15 teams will compete in both track and field events. Field events begin at 10AM and running events begin at 1:30PM. (According to the LHS website)
  14. According to a KSHN news report that I heard this morning. The board will continue to deliberate over the remaining candiadates next week. They may call some of the candidates back for second interviews. Apparently they just can't decide who they want. The news report also stated they probably will not release the final candidates only the one who is selected for the job. ??? ??? ???
  15. I am sure Coach Stewart won't leave the kids hangin. They are workin, I'm sure.
  16. I am sure the board is concerned, they want to make the right decision and it sounds like there most likely candidates aren't hurting for work. It isn't to late, they have a program in place, that said the sooner the better for the kids.
  17. The details and factors are his business. Congrats Cody, I said it last year you are a Hoss and will be an assest to any team. His heart makes him a foot taller and 40 pounds heavier.
