My 9 year old son ( birthdate is Nov of 2007) is interested in playing select basketball. I'm not sure how to go about finding available teams in our area. I've been unable to find much information by googling or searching Facebook. Or is it pretty much just by word of mouth? Even if tryouts are over, we'd at least like to be prepared for next year and make sure we know about what time of year tryouts are and who to contact. Any help in this area is much appreciated. Thanks.

Beaumont Athletics Club will be hosting its:   2nd annual Texas Showcase benefiting the Inspire, Encourage, and Achieve program (I.E.A.). Last year we had over 30 plus teams and more than 2,000 basketball fans show there support for this great cause. This year will be even bigger! Ages are 10u-16u, boys and girls teams, $195 entry fee with a 3 game minimum pool and bracket play. First and Second place trophies as well as team good sportsmanship award will be give.     2nd annual Mid Summer Bash June 13-15. Last year saw a competive tournament with mutiple overtime games and great finishes. This year we are expecting over 50 teams to show up and compete on the highest levels, so register ASAP! 12u-16u Boys and Girls teams, $175 fee, 3 game minimum, pool and bracket play.     3rd Annual Texas Tip Off For Breast Cancer Tournament Benefiting the Julie Rogers Gift of Life Program.
