BSWildcat Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 Didn't know they were playing without king McClure. This team is the real deal. Even without their leading scorer. Even without McClure I see them beating Mumford fairly easy Saturday.

A charter school with one definite high D-1 guard and possibly 2 more playing high-mid D-1 against 1-A kids.

No way a 1A school has that much talent in one year.
bullets13 Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 doesn't really sound very fair. Dickie, Dove, come defend this real fast, will ya?

Academics, Attitude and Athletics are the FOCUS of the curriculum provided to each student. Academically, the curriculum offered is based upon the continuum of developing skills provided at FOCUS Learning Academy. That is off their school website.http://www.focusacademies.org/index.php/campus-profiles/triple-a-academy

uknowit2 Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 Does the UIL have the option of placing these charter and/or private schools in a classifacation that goes beyond enrollment? Seems like a private all boys school in Houston was placed in a higher division because the student population was just that, all boys. Might be a good idea to add a couple more A's to the Triple A Academy to level the field.
