Braeden Riley at Woodville continues to impress folks. He was 4-0 as a Freshman on the Varsity and went 12-0 as a Sophmore and Junior on Varsity. He's already 4-0 this year. Channel 6 will be doing a story on him.

This a great kid and great player (good family, too and they run one good restuarant up there, too)!!!!

Great all around player.Good pitcher but defense is his strength.Trying to hit something by him is like trying to slip daylight past a rooster.

Like the analogy of 'daylight' and a 'rooster'....and he is one slick fielder. He is "Schneider-esque"....

That's the kid that shutdown a good Silsbee team. Some of the Silsbee kids said he is the best pitcher they've ever faced.

this kid can absolutely play some ball. Had the good fortune to watch him play on several occasions... He will impress you!!!

how hard does he throw??

Not a hard thrower but very effective, very smart. I would guess he is in the low to mid 80s (80-84) but haven't seen an actual 'gun' on him.

Not overpowering,throws probably low 80s.Has excellent control and very good breakin ball.I have watched him forever and his glove will be his ticket.Extremely hard worker and a student of the game.Everyone gets hung up on speed ,if that was the barometer Maddux would have never won a game.

I agree there arent but 2 Madduxes,but my point is you dont have to throw 90 plus to pitch.Location and movement get people out also.Anyway back to the topic,good kid ,good player nuff said.
