Silsbee will most likely start Hartman, but they have Gore, Griffin and Garcia also.  Really curious what Buna has for pitching.....

Buna has everybody available except Joe Clark. He threw all 7 against Bridge City.

The Silsbee Tigers will host the Buna Cougers in Silsbee's district home opener at The Tiger Diamond on the campus of Silsbee High School. The Tigers (1-0) have won 4 of the past 6 games over the Cougers (0-1) and own a two game winning streak. The JV will start around 4:30 and Varsity gets things kicked of around 7:00.

One thing I have come to learn about the Bleeding Blue Buna Cougars...Don't ever count them out! I realize most will pick Silsbee, but I will go against the grain...Buna takes this in a close one!

Silsbee is the clear favorite obviously, however Buna is by no means a serious underdog.  This is a winnable game if they(Buna) hit the ball hard on offense, keep the walks to a minimum on defense, and make their routine plays.  I am hoping for  the game to come down to the final innings and  a remarkable defensive play or rip at the right time is the difference maker,  regardless who wins.  Good luck to both teams but I'll be pulling for Buna.

Don't think this is a shoe in for Silsbee although I do feel like they win this one 7-3
