Dwight Howard made a HUGE mistake!

He should of went to Houston with James Harden, Jeremy Lin, and Chandler Parsons. That would make that team a finals contender.

Now he is on the Lakers where that franchise is going downhill.

Houston may land Dwight next season I can see it.

going downhill huh. Since feb 20th we have a 9-3 record. We have actually broke .500 even with injuries to the likes of howard, blake, kobe, nash, and gasol. And we are in the 8th spot for the playoffs with plenty of time to get better.

Remind me again how our franchise is going downhill?

Who the Lakers beat since February 20th Craptors, and Hornets?

Kobe will retire in 2 years.

Gasol-old, and a wuss.

Nash-old.

Jamison-old.

Dwight wont be with the Lakers next season I can guarantee that.

They cant compete with the young guns now what makes you think they will do it next season a year older? They will miss the playoffs this season, and if they make it they would get annihilated.by thunder, clippers, or spurs.

They gave up too many draft picks for Nash, and Dwight.

Dwight has to prove himself, making the playoffs isnt enough in LA. He has to lead them in this series and beat the Spurs, if they lose miserably i highly doubt Dwight is back in LA next season.

Downslope?? Wow. Name any team that can beat the number two seed in round one after loosing three starters, one of them being Kobe Bryant and two very important bench players.
[/quote]I'm not referring to a 7 seed losing to a 2 seed. Nobody expected them to beat the Spurs.

My point is the fact that the Lakers struggled all year, and they finished as the 7th seed. They are a mature team with lots of experience, and they were expected to finish much better than a 7 seed. After acquiring D. Howard, many believed they were a 'contender'.

Anytime a team has that many injuries, it usually means their team is old. Hard to deny that. They are not a young team who has a lot of upside to their future (like the Rockets). Rockets average age of NBA experience is 1.9 years. The average experience for the Lakers starting five is 12.8 years. When players get older, they are more prone to injury, hence 5 injured players.
