When I was at Minute Maid for the Astros Foundation College Classic the place was looking a little shabby.  They actually had security going into the crowd to collect foul balls for the first two days!!!  Everything was done on the cheap, unless you went into the Astro gift shop.  Now that stuff has always been overpriced, but $40 for a new "old" design cap???  Maybe Crane can get his good buddy Pres. Obama to send stimulus money to another losing venture. ;)  Mr. Crane has not impressed me at all.  I am not expecting instant success but don't jack up your major league prices for a minor-league product.

When Crane bought the team, we all took a wait-and-see attitude about him. I was hopeful, as McLane wasn't a good owner from a fans perspective. The longer I wait, the more I see and the less there is to like. I understand rebuilding, but Crane is showing his rear end here. With the Rangers kicking Nolan Ryan to the curb, I guess I'm going to have to watch high school and college baseball and leave the greedy professional teams alone. I'm glad to see Mack and swampdude post your dissatisfaction also. I am not alone here...
