Aces_Full Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 This thread is about Best Single Game Performance You Witnessed...not how many MVPs does Lincoln have compared to PNG. Stay on topic DickieV.
Johnny Ringo Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 Gabe Sindelar(Splendora) vs HJ 2006 Lee College. Kid was on fire.
Silsbeealum14 Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 Witnessing Chris Miller of Silsbee dismantle the two 6"11 towers from Livingston in 99... Miller had 40 pts 15 boards and 8 assists
BADSANTA Posted March 18, 2013 Author Report Posted March 18, 2013 Miller was a beast! He had two damn good players im Elster Whitmore and Andre Henry as well.
Franchiseball Posted March 19, 2013 Report Posted March 19, 2013 Standley Bonewitz 1995 state tourney. 40 something in semis dad pulled him early and then either 37 or 39 in the finals and dad pulled him early. He could have easily broken the record. Also had 10+ assist in both games
HOTROD309 Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013
Silsbee post players on the 1995 team that lost to Lincoln were 6'4 Willie Jones, 6'3 Donyell "Boo" Allen, 6'5 Russell Whitmore, amd 6'4 Tyrell Davis. Wille and Donyell had some serious muscle and could jump!
I went to school with all of them. It was always a dunk fest during basketball practice
coachhooker01 Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 Rashard Lewis in 1997 break the backboard at the Hastings gym in the second quarter, they moved the game to Elsik (1 minute walk over) he scored 51 pts
jam14 Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 Murphy of Evadale dropped 44 on goodrich last year at goodrich... went 10-12 on three's
pinelandflash Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 Best I saw was Rickel Thomas of West Sabine vs. San Augustine this year. We lost 71-68 but he scored 33 points and had 8 or 9 three-balls. Was on fire and was absolutely unguardable that night.
ozensfinest Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 Mine was J'covan I believe it was at the Kingwood tournament when he was playing for PA he dropped 50 I believe
Basketball IQ Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 Silsbee vs. Jasper '84; Terrell "Bumpy" McArthur's 39 points on fifteen for fifteen shooting along with nine for nine from the free throw line, If they would've had the 3 point line that night it could've been 60 easy......
BLUEDOVE3 Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 If an individual player (lets leave out post players) score 50 plus points, would that be considered a ball hog or just having the open shots?
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013
If an individual player (lets leave out post players) score 50 plus points, would that be considered a ball hog or just having the open shots?
Wouldnt know unless you can provide some footage then we can all judge. without the footage to answer your question: you could say both are right depending on your imagination that particular day. ;)

Baller 93 Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 DeCarlos Frank dropped 46pts on Nederland @ Ozen his Senior year. Went 12-15 from 3-land plus he broke the Ozen single game scoring record in front of Kendrick Perkins (Previous record holder). The 3-pointer he hit to break the record was from the volleyball 10-foot line on the floor!! What made it more crazy was that the game before that, Harley (LCM) had just set the district record with 10 3-pointers in a game. The Best Shooting Performance I have EVER seen!!!

oldschool2 Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 Anderson kid from Hardin. 51 pts vs. Anahuac. 10 3's
Pumper Posted May 13, 2013 Report Posted May 13, 2013 I think it was 1985. LaBradford Smith was a sophmore at BayCity, playing against LaMesa in the state semi-finals. He did not miss a shot, 12/12 from the field and 5/5 from the line for 29 points. Poor kid from LaMesa tried to take a charge in transition and LaBradford jumped over him and dunked on the way down. SuperDrum went nuts. Great performance in a big game from a sophmore.
BADSANTA Posted May 13, 2013 Author Report Posted May 13, 2013 Elster Whitmore 44pts vs Pa Memorial back in 1998. Went nuts to open the season for Silsbee.
