Dayton is in decline though. Program is deteriorating under Hancock, Dayton's 17 year streak could be over. Plus the twins just turned 16, Austin (rb) got his first varsity carries as a 13 year old freshman. They still have 3 years to grow.
I don't think there's much for you to point out that's not going to do with what Dayton has done in the past. Dayton had one quality win last year and that was against Crosby. Last half of the season the offense stagnated and the defense didn't really stop anybody all year except BH. I know you'll bring up the winning streak against Crosby but like I said 17 years of that was Stewart. Hancock is 2-0 but the luster is quickly fading. Program has lost discipline and creativity on the coaching side. Once people got the Crosby vs Dayton film y'all never scored more than 13 points on a playoff team. There may be a few fact I can relay that might be hard for you to handle. Good health in the Cougar Den next year 'cause Lady Luck left the building when the legend took his headset off.

I also hear the twins have two offers each as well as the WR Singleton. Congrats to them, and Dakota Allen has his first offer from Colorado! That's good for our District!
Singleton has offers from San Diego State and Utah. Aston (qb) has offers from Rice and Yale. Austin (rb) has offers from Rice, San Diego State, and North Texas so far.

* Jordan Feuerbacher at KP has offers from Texas State, UTSA, and Illinois.

Not true,we alright was 9-0 till SC game.Yes we had some player/coach related issues alright late in the season.Played Ned fair considering the troubles.Broncos will compete again this year w/the youngest group I can remember. The 2012 jv & awesome 9th grade group will shore things up in 2013.Mark it down somewhere 2014 we going deep and you heard it right here ;)
I don't doubt that, I'm just saying Hancock won't dominate the district like Stewart did. There's no flexibility in the playcalling like there used to be. Stewart could adjust on the fly where Hancock uses what I call the novicane approach which is "give it time and it'll work". Crosby has three stud qbs coming through the pipeline too.

Stewart's run was impressive, but as far as Crosby is concerned nothing has changed. Like you said Hancock is 2-0 against the Cougars. If Crosby plans on beating Dayton in the near future their best chance will be this year, while they have Senior twins. We will be young but talented, with a much needed QB change. I understand that your angst for Dayton won't allow you to be objective, this probably wasn't worth saying.
I'm very objective. Unlike many I don't have any angst for Dayton. I admire the program and hope Crosby can have that type of sustained relevance. I have three sons and two nephews that will be coming through the program for the next 15 years. I'm just saying look at the talent levels both teams have had over the past decade and a half. Now look at the dispairity in the records. The talent is always close to equal but the determining factor has been coaching. Stewart is still the AD which is keeping it held together at the seams but the coaching advantage Dayton enjoyed is fading away. Dayton has young talent but Crosby has the same young talent, the difference is going to be qb play and the sheer size of the players at the skill positions. In three years the trenches are going to rival those of a good 5a team and all of our receivers will be in that 6'1"-6'3" range. They'll go 6'5" and 6'1" next year. Crosby is going to have a bunch of kids like Singleton and Merka who are going to be FBS prospects due to size alone. If SC stays 4a or the new 5a plus KP and Humble stay in the district, Dayton as well as Crosby and BH will be in a dogfight for the foreseeable future. No more playoff guarantees for the Broncos.

I guess with all that world class speed University of Summer Creek has 19-4A teams should just forfeit.  :P ::)

I don't think SC will be THAT dominant, I think crosby and maybe KP will have a reasonable shot.
first can you please point out crosbys quality wins. Second crosby almost missed the playoffs with that nail biter against that salty kingwood park. Poor crosby fan stick to what you know best. BASKETBAL!! Last but not least. Dayton had no quality wins they played 2 good teams and lost to both. I dont consider crosby  a quality win.
you say in 3 years crosby will be this unstoppable force. Didnt see it when our frshman teams played. I think dayton beat crosby by around 50.

Poor crosby fan stick to what you know best. BASKETBAL!! Last but not least. Dayton had no quality wins they played 2 good teams and lost to both. I hardly say crosby was a quality win.
I would call a playoff win quality first off. Second, all you have to do is watch the KP game on film. They called 3 penalties on Crosby inside the KP 5 yard line and gave them two fumbles in the first half. Second half KP got shut out and dominated. Even if we would have lost we would have finished 5-3 in the district in a three way tie and still finished 3rd advancing on point differential. Second, once the film was in Dayton looked like trash the last three weeks of the season barely managing 100 yards of total offense and needing a last minute run by Chambers to assure a second place district finish. Lost by almost 40 to SC and barely scrounged anything out of the Ned game. Like I said, the coaching is diminishing while your rivals are getting better so don't be surprised if that "salty" KP team keeps Dayton out of the playoffs this year.
