PhatMack19
Ok be honest. Who had Lumberton all alone in 1st after 4 games? This week will be a big test for the Raiders with LC-M & Nederland.
SETXBaseball2016
I agree. This week is when we find out if Lumberton is 'for real'. Two very good opponents in the same week makes it tough on a pitching staff. We'll see what happens.
scapegoat
How many losses will the district or co-district teams have.If there is a single champ I think 2.If it is a Co-Championship I think

In a district where 4 of 8 teams make the playoffs, a 9-6 record will probably get you in and a 10-4 record is a lock, especially since you have a 2 game lead on the teams currently competing for the 4th spot (Vid. Liv. LCM). Essentially if the Raiders can win 5 of their remaining 10, its postseason time for the first time in L-town for YEARS! Here is how their remaining schedule shakes out:Mar. 26 - at Little Cypress-Mauriceville, 7:00 p.m.*Mar. 28 - Nederland, 7:00 p.m.*Apr. 5 - at Beaumont Ozen, 7:00 p.m.*Apr. 6 - Port Neches-Groves, 4:00 p.m.*Apr. 9 - at Beaumont Central, 7:00 p.m.*Apr. 12 - Vidor, 7:00 p.m.*Apr. 16 - at Livingston, 7:00 p.m.*Apr. 19 - Little Cypress-Mauriceville, 7:00 p.m.*Apr. 22 - at Nederland, 4:00 p.m.*Apr. 26 - Beaumont Ozen, 7:00 p.m.*Thats 3 "should be" guarantees so the Raiders just need to take at least 2 from the other 7 contests. As you can see, this week is huge for the Raiders because if they drop both games they will need to win at least 2 of their remaining 5 matchups with playoff contending teams. But if they can pull out both games they would at least have a .500 record with every playoff team avoiding any dreaded heads-up tie breakers from fall against their favor. We should have a much clearer view of where the Raiders stand at the conclusion of Thursday night's games. This week is also huge for the rest of 20-4A, as this could be the standings when the smoke clears Thursday night:Lumberton 6-0 or 5-1 or 4-2Nederland 5-1 or 4-2PN-G 5-1 or 4-2Livingston 4-2 or 3-3LC-M 4-2 or 3-3Vidor 4-2 or 3-3 or 2-4Central 1-5Ozen 0-6Vidor could find themselves near the top of the district if they can manage wins against the Indians and Lions, OR they could possibly find themselves at 2-4 looking up at the pack and needing to win at least 6 of their final 8 to have a shot at the postseason.PNG will be riding high and looking to carry momentum into their matchup with the Pirates and will probably look to give Ashworth the chance to post back-to-back solid outings which would likely send his confidence through the roof (if its not already there). And if he can get back on track, coupled with the great production they have recevied from LeDoux and Lekich, the Indians will be primed for a STRONG run at the 20-4A title.Livingston could also find themselves in a pretty solid spot at 4-2, while simultaneously crippling the Pirates, if they can pull it out against Vidor. And with Lanthrip at the helm, that team can beat anyone. And of course if the Panthers (v. Ned & PNG) or Jags (v. Liv & LCM) could pull out a win, you can throw all of this out the window and start from scratch! I'll be rooting for them to do just that as it will add even more excitement to an already exciting season.Should be a great week in 20-4A! Hobbs
According to both LCM's and Livingston's schedules, LCM won that game 4-1. So LCM is 2-2 in district and Livingston is 1-3.
