I just got an email that tonight's win by lumberton ended a 34 consecutive loss streak to the bears dating back to the 1900's.  Is that true? or a hoax? Can anybody tell me what was the last time that lumberton beat them?

I remember hearing something about like that before, but i can't tell you if its true or not though. I know it has been awhile but 34 is a lot of games.

He averaged nearly 25 pitches per inning and out of 29 batters faced, he got only 9 out on three pitches or less. He was laboring but he was good.

Thats a pretty high pitch-count for pitchers these days. Sure hope White stays healthy because as it stands right now he looks like the easy pick for Pitcher of the Year with a 3-0 district record with wins at PNG, at Vidor, and at LCM! Man thats impressive!
