SETXBaseball2016 Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 We can probably agree to include from Gulf coast through the lakes area. The real question is whether or not, for this discussion, you include the other side of the Trinity.

setx_baseball23 Posted March 27, 2013 Author Report Posted March 27, 2013 I see it as1.Barbers Hill 2.Nederland 3.Lumberton4.West Brook5.Bridge CityNo offense to GCM just haven't heard much about them. Ive seen them play once this year for like 2 innings waiting for another game to start and didn't look to impressive

I'd say BC, Silsbee, and Lumberton at 3,4, and 5
setx_baseball23 Posted March 27, 2013 Author Report Posted March 27, 2013 I believe West Brook could compete with any of these teams they beat PN-G by 2 or 3 runs while Ashworth was on the mound. I wouldn't count West Brook out of this discussuion at all
TradinUp BH Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 1. Barber's Hill2. Bridge City3. Silsbee4. Dayton5. Lumberton6. Nederland7. PNG8. West Brook9. GCM10. WhoeverI guessed after #1. ;D

New coach, not enough pitching, etc..Boy, was I wrong. Coach Thames has done an outstanding job and they seem to have embraced the "team" mentality. Cooper and Silva have been lights out from the mound. Hope they continue their success.
Steven Avery Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 GCMs Jr class is pretty stacked, lots of good players and athletes....you have to remember these same kids played for Thames as freshman which I thought at the time was a great thing but as it turns out it was even better as he coached what is now his kids...He knows what they can and have done in game situations, plus Charlie is just a good coach. I really like what they are doing. Doesnt hurt to get transfers from Dayton and Channelview either to supplement the talent ;D
