SilsbeeD Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Who helped their team the most? My vote-Netherly from wo-s The reason i didnt pick someone from silsbee is because all of the team was pretty even and their were a few that stood out but mainly even.
KFDM COOP Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 I would say Netherly as well. He really came alive toward the end of the season and in the Playoffs to help get WOS to the Final 4.
whsalum Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 This is 2 different questions? The MVP would be the best player in the area. That would be Netherly in my opinion,The one who makes the biggest contribution to his team would be Tramain Thomas of East Chambers,he makes the difference in them being very good or average.Either way both these guys can flat out play.
SilsbeeD Posted March 13, 2006 Author Report Posted March 13, 2006 I mean like MVP to their team. Who got their team out of tough games with a win. Stuff like that.
SilsbeeD Posted March 13, 2006 Author Report Posted March 13, 2006 about 2 or 3 more nominations and we will make a poll
firsthOops Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 I have to go with Thomas from East Chambers. The only person that can hold him is Hargraves.
rhino1877 Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 I agree with Tramain Thomas. That cat can outright play.......and he would be the star on anyone' basketball team!
warfan Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 You don't have to be the best player to be the MVP. You have to be the player that makes the "difference". That being said, I have to give it to Thomas from EC. Without him the Bucs become average pretty fast.
Baller4Life_5 Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 In reference to rhino1877....You said that thomas would be the star on anyone's team....I watched him and his aau team play and he is not the best player on that team.....he actually sat on the bench quite alot.....Don't get me wrong he is a good player....but if he wants to go play D1...the he'll have to work on is jumpshot because in college he's not going to average 26 points a game off of layups..because in high school thats what he does.....He drives every time.....and i think J'covan from Kelly is 10 times the player...that kid is for real..
whsalum Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 Its really not fair to these kids to talk about D1 players as sophomores.Their alot of good young players out there but they are still light years away from D1 status.JaCovan has tons of talent and he will grow up.He will probably have the best shot eventually at a D1 school.
