Who will OF throw against BC?..... With BC Friday, Silsbee Saturday, and HF Tuesday... It Should be interesting to see how OF's coach pitches his pitchers in these 5 days.  Do they use their top 2 pitchers against BC and Silsbee and take a chance on losing to HF???? Decisions, Decisions.... BTW I'll take BC in this one.

i bet he throws his #2 or 3 against BC and saves his ace for silsbee. concede the lose to BC and play for the win against silsbee since they played them tough in the first round.

He will most likely go with his ace for a couple innings against bridge city. If the game is close he will leave him in, but if it's not he will probably go with the number 3 or 4 to finish the game giving their 1,2, and 3 rest for the upcoming games

Not sure of order but I would say #1 Crain, #2 Smith, #3 Gunstream not sure about anything else they have.

Does O-field have anybody that throws hard??  I know whoever they threw against Buna was mid 70's. Buna put Raydon Taylor on the mound and he sits lower 80's and O-field struggled to hit him very hard.  I would expect similar outcome if Bridge City starts one of their regulars tonight.  For O-field to do damage, they will need Bridge City's help on defense.  Bridge City will not have any trouble putting the ball in play.  I look for BC to score 8-10 and depending on strength of their defense tonight, to hold the cat's to under 3.  We'll see.  The one thing O-field does have going for them, is BC is the big favorite and if BC shows up thinking the W is waiting for them, O-field might just get to give a little shock and awe and come away with a "big" W for themselves.....definiitely possible if BC puts down their guard.

Smith sits mid to low 80s, and Orangefield scored 8 off Hartman in 2 all on hits and hit Powell very well
They also knocked out Jeffcoat after 2
[/quote]
Well if they hit Howell, eventhough it was preseason, then I would say they can handle whatever BC throws at them, I just didn't see that many good at bats from them in the game that I saw....OF vs Buna.  Do you know who threw against Buna??
Who is Hartman and how hard does he throw??

Powell gave up 2 hits in 6 innings against OF with 7 K's, that doesn't sound like he got hit that hard.... 8)

Not to mention the 13 or 14 K's Anderson (WOS) had against OF......
