Larry Tidwell has announced he is leaving Lamar for same position at Texas Pan-Am. Tidwell leaves LU w/ a career record of 128-66

Not surprised, he just didn't seem into it this year.  Texas Pan Am joins the WAC in July.

Straw that broke the camels back was having to play in PA instead of the Montagne for the tournament game!!!

LU is a pretty decent MM women's job.  Why did they have to play in PA? Was it at Lamar State?

Yep.

I guess Lamar wasn't expecting the women's team to host a tournament game and scheduled a "gala" in the Montagne Center that week. ::)

Women had to play at Parker Center.

IMO, one of the best coaches we had on campus and I hate to see him go, especially for what appears to be somewhat of a lateral move...pretty discouraging, really
