Mostly unrelated side note. 

Pretty famous Waltrip alum, although much older; graduated in about 1983, none other than..."The Undertaker" of pro wrestling fame.  Real name Mark Calaway.  Played college basketball before becoming a wrestler.

It counts as far as the UIL goes, but when it all happened HISD officials took down the state championship banner in Delmar Fieldhouse.

Gotta love Drexler's comment about only wanting him if he has good character and wanting to avoid any headaches.  That was how coaches and recruiters thought a couple of decades ago.  Boy, how times have changed. smh
