Just an early prediction to get everyones blood flowing. ;D Serious though, SC, Crosby, BH, and Dayton were young last year. Vidor loses all world QB/LB, Ned will be tough, and who else in 20-4a? PNG still a year to two away, Livingston wasn't a good playoff team, maybe Ozen or Central?

LUMBERTON RAIDERS :)
Sorry RaiderGirl, but if the rumors are true about Credeur it will be another long year for the Raiders.

To answer your question TradinUp, I would say Central will be much tougher than last year, Ozen will depend on the new coach.  Vidor will probably make the playoffs again and maybe PNG.  We know how BH and PNG usually works out. :)

So probably a 2-2 split this year.

We're going to find out real quick the bi-district pecking order. We open with Ned in The Den and after we travel to Willis for our layup we go to BH, get Dayton at home and bookend it with SC in Turner. Call me crazy but I think we beat Ned at home in the opener, hammer Willis and BH and squeak by Dayton in Crosby. If we have any sort of defense we could be 4-0 playing SC for the district title week 5. We also get Kingwood Park at home this year. I'm predicting 9-1.

Crosby's schedule http://crosby.tx.schoolwebpages.com/education/components/docmgr/default.php?sectiondetailid=902
They (Nuevo Leon) had some decent athletes last year and good size. I see BH beating Crosby this year. ;)

P.S, the schedule was for two years with same teams. We'll see what Gauge does after this year with pre-district. I heard Katy and Aledo ::)
Last year we won by 18 with the 2nd team in the last half of the 4th quarter. That's with a long td run called back for two players hand-fighting and and Singleton dropping one in the endzone after he beat the Eagle defenders by 15 yards. Should have easily been 49-17, and don't forget the td y'all got before the half was on a broken play Denny just made a great play out of. Austin is averaging 165 ypg rushing and his brother is averaging 102.5 in the two previous meetings between Crosby and BH. Throw that in with one of the top 20 receivers in the state and y'all are in a world of trouble. I predict BH sets a new attendance record and everyone is there to see them go a resounding 0-1 to start district play. I know Dayton fans say it every year Tradin but . . . we're loaded this year. ;)
Agree, ya'll will be loaded this year, but I still have to hope we can pull it out against ya'll. BH may surprise some teams. I don't think we match up well with ya'll or SC, but I think we might get a "w" against Dayton. That's why I predicted 7-3 with a possible 8-2. I do see atleast a 3-1 or sweep against 20-4a this year in the playoffs though ;D

I see that purple blood has finally turned blue. can't say the same for your avatar though. ;D

Early prediction for playoffs!

Ned (D1 #1)  Vs. Dayton (D1 #2)
Central (D1 #2) vs. SC (D1 #1)
Ozen (D2 #1) vs. BH (D2 #2)
Vidor (D2 #2) vs. Crosby (D2 #1)
I'll be honest if anyone has the athletes to match up with sc it would be central. That would be a damn good game.

My prediction would be:

Ned (d1 #1) vs. KP (d1 #2)
Central vs SC (same as yours)
Vidor (d2 #1) vs. BH or Dayton (d2 #2)
PNG (d2 #2) vs. Crosby (d2 #1)

In that scenario I think it's most likely a 3-1 in favor of 19-4a with Ned with the lone victory for 20-4a in the bi-district.

Y'all got the playoff teams wrong.  :D
Enlighten us. LCM, Livingston, PNG, Lumberton? or KP, Humble, NC, Porter, CEK? I watched every BH game last year, and none of these 19-4a teams were in the same league. Remember, the playoff teams last year were all young in 19-4a and have most of their teams coming back. KP could possibly give some trouble, but don't see it. 20-4a, maybe a LCM or PNG (if they can get it done with all sophs on varsity)

You think dayton, bh, and kp would beat crosby? That would be insane. Maybe one out of those three but to way all of them. Other than that I think your idea of 20-4a is valid.
Crosby hasn't lost more than two district games in like 8 or 9 years. You dang sure don't have to worry about that this year, going to be 9 straight playoff appearances for the Coogs. Question is can we beat Manor or pre-season top 10 Elgin in the second round?

Im not sure why DC has Elgin in the preseason top ten, do they return a lot of key players? Same goes for Whitehouse, I guess they know more than I do. Anyway I think crosby will benefit greatly from flying under the radar like SC did in 2012.
They play in the toughest 4a district in the state maybe other than their neighboring district with state champ Cedar Park and the Leander schools. It only looks like they lost 7 players total from last year and none of the qbs, rbs, or good receivers. Elgin finished 3rd in their district and went to the third round, Manor finished second and lost in the state semis to Cedar Park and Georgetown lost in the state championship. Going to be a tough second round no matter how it plays out.

    • That should tell everyone something pretty clearly. Does anyone really think BH is recruiting elementary kids, to get them to transfer in Jr. high? Seriously? Here is the "dirty little secret" about BH: Most people move to the district for a quality living environment to raise their young family, and benefit from the outstanding acedemics at BH. Even If all athlectics suddenly disappeared from BH, people would still want their kids in the district. If thats not enough to convince anyone, and BH really was determined to recruit, first step would be to have open enrollemnt. It is closed.        Yes, I get it, no one ever wants to give BH the benefit of the doubt on anything. Some of the accusations are beyond ridiculous though. This paranoia the BH critics are afflicted with is not just sad, its flat out laughable.
    • Opting is always an option. Are they considering any BC assistants? Highly qualified after that season they put up.
    • Be that as it may, only time will tell. Hide and watch. Don’t be surprised if the next HC hire uses his own recipe. That happens more than not historically. I am not arguing the point that Hooks & CT had a winning combination that could’ve been carried over. I’m saying that finding someone to do that is not going to be as easy as one might think. Tell me again why Saban’s replacement, who even has Saban’s assistance if he wants it, just lost another game to an unranked team and has taken the Tide out of playoff contention? Why wouldn’t he just follow the success of possibly the greatest college football coach ever lived?
    • We've acknowledged having 2 HOF coaches hasn't been like most other schools. So why everyone jumps to the conclusion it wouldn't work here is beyond my comprehension. I see it carry over with these other hires. Gilmer, Aledo, North Shore, Austin Westlake. Next man up that continues the system in place has instant success. Matter fact there was 2 rookie HC that won the state championship the same year we handed over the keys. Same book. Same recipe. Better ingredients.
