cjack123
I have noticed there are many Youth (5th & 6th grade) 7 on 7 football tournaments in the Dallas & Houston areas. I know in southeast texas there is middle school & high school 7 on 7 teams that play one another and they also play in varsity tournaments around the state. Any one interested in forming a quick & simple 7on7 league for 5th & 6th grade teams? (teams could be combined 5th & 6th graders or all 6th graders). We would follow the Varsity 7on7 rules. This is ALL PASSING (No running plays), one hand touch (No Tackle). It's played in shorts, shirt & cleats. We could form our teams ASAP and begin play in May and end in June, We could play games during the week or Friday evenings. any interest????? cjack123
WOW!! 8 days and NO local interest......at these youth 7on7 tournaments in Dallas, Houston, & Austin, there are over fifty (50) 7on7 teams each weekend in the spring and summer playing 7on7 football. There is great experience gained from playing 7on7 (which is without "contact"). 7on7 is already being played locally in southeast Texas at the Middle School & High School level. However, 7on7 at the youth level has not "caught on" yet. If anyone is interested....Holla!! We can make it happen.

Alpha Wolf
My son is on a 5th/6th grade team here in Beaumont. I'll get with the coach to see if he's interested which I'm quite sure he'd be...
