Alvin Credeur leaving Lumberton/ It's Official!

According to multiple sources within Lumberton ISD, Lumberton AD/HC Alvin Credeur will be leaving Lumberton at end of school year. Sources have said he will be taking another job in the area as an assistant.

I have been given confirmation of Coach Credeur leaving from 3 sources within LISD.

Is it me or is Lumberton turning into the new HF? No disrespect to either community, but just seems people don't stick around those places long. School Boards, Super's, parents or what? Just an observation.

I can sum it up in 2 words, 'Helicopter Parents', who are also either on the board or driving the decisions made by the board.  If we as parents could be half as effective at 'work' as we are in managing the athletic depts at our local schools, we would all be millionaire CEOs by now.

[/quote]Pretty sure its Vidor.  Good for Vidor, Ltown is loosing a good coach and great person.  Someone mentioned parents...Yall may shoot me down but thats exactly right.  parents talking to board members and administrators caving in to board pressure.  Alvin will be much better off away from LISD politics.  The exodus from Lumberton may just be getting started.
