bh89-2 Posted April 30, 2013 Report Posted April 30, 2013 Guess I'll have to make this game. Where the heck is the baseball field in Dayton anyway? I usually try and make a u-turn when I see that "Welcome to Dayton, Spit Your Teeth Out Sign".

I don't recall pitchers being changed. And when it was 5-0 Dayton had a couple errors that allowed BH to get runs. Seems Dayton had a little trouble getting out of that inning.

BH10 Posted April 30, 2013 Report Posted April 30, 2013 The last game between BH and Dayton, we threw a total of 5 pitchers. Getting some work in.
adminbaberuth Posted April 30, 2013 Author Report Posted April 30, 2013 Nederland's pitching has carried them all year, why they are district champs. Unless a total breakdown, these games will be close as the Dogs have struggled as most teams at the plate . If Dayton is comparable to LCM, it could turn out as a competitive series.
scapegoat Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 Nederland has 4 losses on the season. Two of them to 5A top ten teams and 1 run losses to the second and third place district finishers.Last year, Nederland found a way to lose games. This years senior heavy team has played a lot of close games and found a way to win most of them.Fun to watch teams that have confidence in close games.I look for this to be a good series with the Dogs winning some close games to move on to the next round.

Steven Avery Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 Last game against Dayton, Thames went 3 innings giving up 4 hits, 5r, 4ER, 4 BBs and 2 Ks.
