ACE Quarterfinal / GSF wins 22 - 1

GSF beat Riverdale (Baton Rouge) Christian Academy 22 - 1.  This was the ACE quarterfinal game, and propels GSF into a semi-final matchup on Thursday.  GSf will play Baton Rouge CHEF (Christian Home Educated Families) on Thursday in Erath, Louisiana.  Great job Hornets.  Here is the Game Changer run-down:

The GSF Hornets blew out Riverdale CA 22-1 on Monday at GSF after pouring on 13 runs in the second inning.

Jacob Eason racked up seven RBIs on four hits for the GSF Hornets. He doubled in the second and third innings and singled in the second and fourth innings.

Daniel Bean pitched lights out for the GSF Hornets. Riverdale CA managed just one hit off of Bean, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

The GSF Hornets hammered Riverdale CA pitching as nine hitters had a field day, combining for 17 hits, 19 RBIs and 19 runs scored.

Boys are looking forward to it.  We have a very young team, and I sure hope to get more involved in playing during the summer.  Looking forward to Thursday and hope the boys pack their bats with them, and leave their errors at home.  2 games left, and gotta keep their minds right and motivated toward the goal.  Best of luck to all our local playoff teams.
