Yes Letsinger did play a little in each quarter... 61 to 45 Big Sandy I think was the final.

Yea they had a bad game and Big Sandy is really good.. But I am still happy for our boys they are (17-1) and I never seen our basketball team this good.

Big Sandy defeated the previoulsy unbeaten WH Oilers 61-45. The Oilers came into the game with an injured and sick Brandon Letsinger who did not start the game. Big Sandy; however,  played well and earned the victory fair and square. The Oilers were led by Tyler Copeland's 21 points. Letsinger played a little over half the game and chipped in with 10 including a 90 foot buzzer beater with 1 second left in the 3rd quarter. The loss drops the Oilers to 17-1 on the season. Congrats Oilers on a terrific run to start the season. You have a lot to be proud of. Congratulations to Big Sandy for playing a good game tonight.

The Oilers seemed very cold tonight couldnt get a shot in the basket,the worst Ive seen them play. Great buzzer shot Letsinger should have been worth 6pts.

Do not hang your heads for one minute, Oilers!  You guys had the deck stacked against you and you came out and fought hard!!!  Big Sandy is a great team, but even they don't know tonight whether they can really beat you when you're all healthy!  Just remember:  It ain't over!  This is an extremely minor setback.  A perfect record would've been nice, but hey, not as nice as district champs is going to be!  Stay focused and stay strong!  All of your fans are behind you 100% and extremely proud of all of you!

I HATE TO HEAR IT SUGAR AND WH OILERS, GREAT STREAK LONGEST IN S E TX THIS YEAR . THE ONE THING NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT IS WH HAD 26 PTS IN THE FIRST HALF AND TYLER COPELAND HAD 20!!!!! WAY TO PLAY TOUGH LETSINGER , IT TAKES A CERTAIN TYPE PERSON TO PUT IT ON THE LINE WHEN NOT 100%!  I AM GLAD HD PLAYED WH WHEN THEY DID ,NOTHING AGAINST BIG SANDY BUT WOULDN'T WANT IT THIS WAY. NO DISRESPECT BUT U TAKE COPELAND AND LETSINGER OUT OF MIX AND WHAT DO YOU HAVE? A HALF COURT TEAM

The shot was crazy! Inbounded the ball, he got it and threw it like one of those pretty football passes he throws, and swishhhhhhhh! Nothing but net!

Now on the game. Yes BS played well. However they did not impress me as being that good of a team. They are disciplined and do the little things.

I look forward to seeing WH play them when Brandon and Ethan are healthy.

Jared Tomlinson I heard also had been through the stomach bug in the last day or two.

No excuses, but people can play with BS. WH will probably win by 20 w/ Letsinger healthy.

I have seen the oilers several times this year and really enjoyed watching them but I don't see them beating BS by 20.Letsinger is a very good player but BS always plays great defense and very fundamental offense.That combination leads to close games.Heres an idea for Coop.Put your 2 cents in for WH vs BS in the playoff preview at the Montagne Center next month.West Hardin should win at home and that could be the tie breaker like Kountze and EC did 2 years ago.That would let lots of folks see how good small school basketball can be.Congrats to the Oilers on a great start,yall will be fine. ;)

I am here, BS is has a very strong fundamental ball team, good job coach. WH looked flat tonight, never seemed to get on track. I know the school in general has had a lot of sickness, but BS came to play and they prevailed in this game, congrats to BS.

Now the monkey is off our back, lets play ball and get a District Championship!!!
