Coach Foreman Era At Central Begins

Yeah I did not really understand it either, but I was not saying a program could not have immediate success, i was merely speaking on the norm! I've played on teams in H.S. that received a new coaching staff and system and also had 3 different head coaches in my 5yr. college career, i've also witnessed other programs with lots of talent experience a learning curve before they started winning consistently! Therefor as fans and supporters of our teams, let's just remain that way even if they struggle early on! IJS

understand, just enjoying the post I just think Central has a group of kids that are good in all sports and just one or two play more than one sport , that group of kids at Central Gpa's are top also (so learning new things will not be the problem) I think its Central time everybody else in 21-4a just lost great groups,  but that's not to say they want be good 21-4a is always great Football

Central has kids are pretty good as there are a few that are really good in different sports.  We have some kids on the football team that has very high GPA's, so learning a lot of things on the run probably won't be much of a problem.  This may very well be Central's time as Visor lost Quirante, Livingston lost Collins and Ozen will be losing Jones.  But, that's not to say becuse 20-4a always has great football.

Trust me I know how strong Central can be with the right leadership at the helm.... I do believe Coach Foreman will have that program hitting on all cylinders in no time flat... but I will stand with my saying because when talent doesn't work hard.... well you get Central for the past couple of seasons...

[/quote] ... It's self explanatory...  Just like his status states.  Central had great talent that didn't work hard enough.  On the other hand, Vidor had less talent, but worked hard as evident with the results.  Central's results over the past 2 seasons...... Well, have been less than stellar...

[/quote] Well, not really saying that our players didn't work hard, but I feel that the coaches could have pushed them to their limits.  Missed Tackles and dropped open catches wouldn't happen too often if we would have busted arse like we should have.

Like I tell my twins... Football games aren't won during the season... they are won over the summer... with the weights, the sprints, the training you do away from your coaches... how bad do YOU want it....  the way you practice is the the way you play... leave 100% effort behind you because if you don't it will leave 100% regret the rest of your life...

And Soulja.... I do think the kids of Central the past couple of years could of been more prepared as far as game planand more structured workouts and such... but ... I think the youth should shoulder some of it for not getting off their duffs and going and working on their own.... sometimes that extra initiative helps more then anything....

ATTITUDE REFLECTS ON LEADERSHIP! I have played aginst the talent at Central in the early days...played in the first 4-Beaumont Bowls...those teams were well coached...Central always has talent...they have missed out on good coaching. I hope Forman gets them right!
