Peppermint Patty Posted May 3, 2013 Report Share Posted May 3, 2013 Had to leave in the 8th. Pearland up 8-0. Goins was still on the mound for the Oilers. RSS was on pitcher #3. Bud Kilmer Posted May 3, 2013 Report Share Posted May 3, 2013 Blake Goins had 7-8 scouts in the stands for Pearland and word was he hit 95mph while sitting 90-93. blue10 Posted May 3, 2013 Report Share Posted May 3, 2013 Blake goins pitched a nice game tonight against Sterling , rangers had a few chances to get to blake but couldnt get a clutch hit tonight . Pearland took advantage of some early walks and errors to take the lead and thats all blake needed to bring in game 1 win.
