I was also told by a reliable source that it would possibly be La Porte and my source even sent me pics of the field.  ;D  Maybe we know the same reliable source....LOL

Due to state testing our series with sweeny has changed:
Friday 7pm
Saturday 12pm
If needed game 3 will be 30 minutes after game 2

All games to be played at La Porte high school baseball field.

I heard that also, but not sure if it is true.  Some people have him projected as a 1st round draft pick.

These are his stats this year through 24 games.

Corey Simpson-  .578, 10HR, 11 doubles,  16BB/5K's,  .659 OBP,  1.183 slg

That would be a huge loss

It is confirmed. Sweeny's catcher Corey Simpson is out 3-6 weeks with broken hand.

Tough break for Sweeny and nice break for Bridge City. ;)
