Houston Rockets:Who should they go after??

Recommended Posts

The Rockets are one power forward away from being a serious contender.

Free agent Power forwards

Josh Smith

Paul Millsap

Center.

Dwight Howard.

Should the Rockets really make a move to try for Dwight?

Also Jeremy Lin is not that great.

The Rockets will be around for a longgg time!

IN MOREY WE TRUST.

Not Dwight.  8)

He would have a better chance with the Rockets.
Dwight will be in Houston or Cleveland.

Houston needs to commit to Asik at center. Add another high-scoring power forward to throw in 18-24 ppg and 9-13 rebounds per game and they'll be a heck of a team. Josh Smith is a great fit.
you might be right, Dwight likes Brooklyn and wants to play there. one thing is for sure: he wont be playing for the Lakers anymore. It would take the Lakers to amnesty Kobe for Dwight to stay, that isnt going to happen  ;)

ESPN mentioned the possibility of Chris Paul and Dwight Howard coming to play with James Harden...
I can 100% see Dwight going to Houston, CP3 not so much, I think the Clippers will add another piece there for him to stay along with letting him pick his coach.

They can afford Dwight and Milsap... they should get them both... They may not be able to keep parsons long term after that b yup t that would be a great team any way
I don't know if I get rid of Parsons.  He is only going to get better.

Lin is under that $25 million contract. Patrick Beverely is a better point guard then him

Lets say if Rockets get Dwight, should they keep Asik? I would love to have them two.
When the Rockets initially picked up Asik I was like WTF! But I'd keep him if I could with Dwight.

Lin is the dead weight that needs to be shipped off some kind of way...

Asik is a beast. I'm just scared if we get Dwight, hopefully we keep Asik off the bench maybe, that will wear down a bunch of teams down low.

Here is a list of big men we have, power forward is what concerns me.

Terrance Jones is developing.
Royce White needs to get cut.
Thomas Robinson will get traded.
Motiejunas is soft.
Greg Smith hopefully will stay, he is a beast.
Omer Asik was a steal in free agency, gets about 20 rebounds a game. I really hope we keep him. I have a feeling he will be serious trade bait, and it scares me.
I know one of Royce's HS classmates/Teammates. Royce needs to get cut and stay out the league, he is a pathetic joke, that kid doesnt have real anxiety issues: he has ISSUES WITHIN HIS OWN MIND. People in Minnesota are not to fond of that guy. That guy has had personal off-court issues ever since he had gotten into HS. Worried about anxiety, he better be worried about taking care of them child support payments he's going to have to make in the near future for the kids he has.
