Hating MaxPreps

I can't say enough how much I'm hating MaxPreps providing the official UIL brackets now. It takes forever for scores to be updated especially small school and I'm finding a lot of mistakes. I wonder how this could mess up the playoff history sections for the future.

most of the time their scores are wrong on the Max Preps site anyway.  This will probably last a year and the UIL will give them the boot.  Especially if they mess up football season.

Max preps will only update the scores if that is the stat program that a coach uses.  If coaches don't use max preps to report scores and stats then its a hunt and peck to find scores.  I agree w you, report to the uil and then let them update the brackets as in years past.

Maxpreps has to be posted by coaches. If coaches don't post it won't get on there. That's all information: scores, records, playoffs.

in theory what the UIL and maxpreps are trying to do is a good idea. it just dont seem like they have the coaches on board yet. most coaches dont have the time or the desire to mess with logging in stats and scores.

unless the UIL forces the coaches to turn in data it will not work.

Most coaches have quit using maxpreps and are using gamechanger.

It's a very good site and they even have an app that is very good.  You can get scores to almost any game across the country.  I just wish it was free and you didn't have to pay to see stats.

The App is crazy cool... you can input where the ball is hit and how the play ended or whatever... if you get a chance install it and play around with it... pretty damn cool....
