Loser's are satisfied with second place...... I am very excited about the route HJ took with our new coach. You obviously dont know me. Even if we dont win a game this year, my problems with the football program have been solved. We now actually HAVE a program..... Workouts are in place and mandantory.... Respect is demanded and attitude's are in check.... Wins will come, [u][b]all I ever wanted was to be competitive[/b][/u] and for my boys to have a coach they could look up too... Ok, so let me spell this out in crayon so you can understand this..... Are you familiar with HJ's football program, or in the past, lack there of? Yes we will be very happy to be competitive.... If you had been reading everything I've posted on here since football ended last year you would know that SETXSPORTS finest bloggers have done nothing but put down and dog out a community of young men. I on the other hand choose to believe that the problem was not the boys.... Of course I would be happy with second place for a year or too once our program is up and running. But for these guys to get on here and act like Silsbee is a powerhouse football team is comical. Me saying they are satisfied with second place is me trying to get under Fran, B Garrity, and Aggsarewe's skin.... It must work because every time I say it I get another vote on this stupid thread... I have left all the other programs alone on here because Silsbee's #1 fans seem to think that they are unbeatable.... Especially by a bunch of talentless rednecks from Sour Lake..... So now you get on here BRM, and try to stir the pot a little... I get it... Sir it brother..... I welcome it....

I don't see it happening.  Our area is pretty much fully developed.  Unless another large master plan community pops up, we'll probably see a drop in enrollment.  We took in some kids from Humble due to their low rating, but I hear they're back in good graces.  Humble HS sure could take some more kids in their renovated school.

A single Humble ISD HS would be a POWERHOUSE in 5A, but they split up the schools.  My belief is they want to give more kids a chance to play and been seen.  Our region has sent a lot of kids to the college ranks.  I hear we're one of the highest recruited regions in the country.

48-37 isn't what I call getting embarrassed. and the last I checked, Georgetown is still 4-A for one more season. after that who knows. maybe the uil will move them up to the next classification along with SC. then they can continue that annual beatdown of the greatest show. I wonder what your excuse will be then. they were a 7A school? :'(
