Offensively, it's going to be tough for Nederland this year.  Do they pound Hopkins, or do they pound Barton who could start for anybody else in this district... or do they give it to the soph Krautz who will have everyone shaking their head when it's all said and done??? Or do they just say screw handing it to anyone and let Seay wild dog it?  Or do they split Seay and Kimler, and Krautz out and fling it around?  Man Nederland is in a bind offensively this year, I can see where you're coming from Babe.

With all that said... how big of a hit did the dogs take on the Oline?

Four of the five are coming back, a tackle, both guards, and the center... who will be one of the best lineman in the district.  This is why folks are picking a three peat.  And we haven't even gotten to the defensive side of the ball where there will be a lot less of a drop off than people are hoping for.  When you start with one of the top defensive lineman in the NATION, it tends to help.

we return 4 out of 5 O lineman also... we took a big hit as far as starters in backfield and LBs/DBs... I think our Offense will be ok ... the D side of the ball will be the big question mark until we get to see some action... new faces in familiar places with big shoes to fill... we do get a good athlete back that missed all last year with a shoulder injury and he should help Sage out in the LB area... He was on Varsity as a Freshman and Soph before a car wreck messed up his shoulder... we shall see if he can make an impact as a SR as he did his first 2 years.... Sept 27th will be a great game to open the season with...
