Why? we are not dwelling on it. we accepted defeat. some of ya'll are stuck on G-town claiming you were robbed because they had 5-a numbers. I guessed we could say we were robbed by those standards since SC had an enrollment of 700 over Vidor. not to mention our 6 turnovers. but it is what it is and we got over it. maybe ya'll should do them same cause come 2014, G-town will be the least of your worries.

Nederland / Dayton are proven commodities with great coaching staffs. I'm hoping Jeff along with the addition of Credeur can continue our winning ways. Plenty of kids coming up for the Pirates along with two more "Q"s. Good times in the neighborhood, I say.

THEN I checked Maxpreps and see why you never breath a word of that game... because you got monkeystomped  41-19 and then Magnolia West turned around the very next week and got monkey stomped by..... wait for it....... wwwaaiiiiittttttt for it...... DAYTON 41-23..... :-D who in turn ran into juggernaut Manvel the next week... 49-10....

This was our first play off game in our young existence.  The game was closer than its final score.  Had a CLEAR TD called incomplete in the endzone and our share of turnovers.  The biggest issue was our defense.  Had no luck stopping speedy RB's.  Took some big loses to team that had legit RB's.  Willis killed us that year.  These losses were necessary in building to our year of PERFECTION.

It really was and I know you're lying because you said you had a "friend" attend the game...lol.

They were a young team that had no idea what to expect in the playoff atmosphere.  Had they played with more confidence, they could have won that game.  The big story was MW's RB.  We really had no answer for him on defense.  Had our offense managed to sustain some clock time ...it really could have gone the other way.  No excuses seriously, they were prepared to play and SC was not.  We looked real happy to just be there.
