you think that Chatman and jefferies would make a thunder and lightning combination for Summer Creek backfield.I do not think that Jefferies is a natural receiver ,he is a running back. They should put Braden in the slot and move Jefferies to running back because they are going to need all the points they can get because i don't know if their defense can hold up

If SC doesn't use Jefferies in the backfield I think they will be making a mistake.I watched 4 C.E.King games last year and the more you give him the ball the better he gets.Put him in the slot is a waste.Put him in the backfield and put him in motion if you want to throw his way. What LB in 19-4A is going to be able to stay with him.
Agree ...will be very anxious to see where they line him up during the scrimmage.  I just don't believe Braden is a better back than Jeffreys.  Braden was better in the slot.

what should SC do with Chatman ,I think that he can have a big season for them at running back this coming year. What do you think
::)
:o

Chatman at RB is a good move from what I've seen from you ...I mean, HIM thus far.  The main issue is getting carries in Ford's pass heavy offense.  Also, SC has rotated 2 RB's each year, so his carries may be cut in half.  Moving back to TE might see Chatman get more involved if Ford throws like he did last year.

Everyone says Chatman has good hands, but I've seen him drop a couple sure TD's over the middle last year.  That needs to get cleaned up this year, or Chatman will be playing at San Jac.

where do you think Sharp and Allen will end up as far as college.I think Kansas State for both of them
Allen might go to K State, but Sharp is up the air IMO.  If he has an off the chart season, he may draw even bigger schools ...who knows.  Just need him and Allen to focus on an undefeated district championship and winning STATE.  I have a bottle of champagne I plan on drinking in the face of some SC haters on this forum.
Dakota should play at TCU or OU, Sharp should go to Baylor, K-St, or I've been reading he's leaning Miss St as of late but it could just be from camp. I don't know even if Aaron has a big season if he'll get any bigger offers, most of the top programs already have their guy.
Agree with your picks ...but offers and commits can be soft these days.  Everybody wants to win and loyalty doesn't trump winning.  Both guys have an entire season to shine ...it may increase or decrease their stock.  I see late commits from both players.  This verbal offer/verbal commit thing is really interesting.  I believe the NCAA pushed back National Signing Day to February and it started all this verbal offer business.

If SC has the season they should, both Sharp and Allen can sing "Back Then They Didn't Want Me, Now I'm Hot They All On Me!"
I don't think it's going to get bigger than OU for Dakota, he's somewhat limited by his height. The SEC could come calling late with decommitments but he needs to get a spot in a recruiting class in case he gets injured during the offseason or next year. Dakota could still impress recruiters with his versatility and production next year, it doesn't get much better than what Sharp did last year. You have to remember guys like Hubanek and KD Baker threw for well over 4000 yards and weren't very highly recruited after playing in state title games so unless there's a decommit somewhere I don't think Sharp can be anymore impressive than a nearly 6 to 1 td to pick ratio over his career. It's just a rough year to be a qb with all the talent around the country. What I would be worried about is why Baylor told Sharp they wanted him as a receiver but offered a qb scholarship to a kid that was a backup last year and hasn't started a varsity game. LSU feels the same way though which tells me there's either a consensus on his arm strength or mechanics by the big schools.

Keep it real Cougar14, don't just say "a kid"  , let everybody know that's RANDALL CUNNINGHAM JR. Son of Ex-NFL PHILADELPHIA QB RANDALL CUNNINGHAM  ;)
i havent heard any kind of hype about that kid other than he is the son of the legendary QB.
He doesn't need hype....he has the name
Joe Montana's kid had "the name" also ;)
a lot of kids had the name. few panned out!
most QB's that i have seen that have "the name" get exposed and over hyped because of "the name"...Its their downfall.  ;)

where do you think Sharp and Allen will end up as far as college.I think Kansas State for both of them
Allen might go to K State, but Sharp is up the air IMO.

All I'm saying is this. The guy wins the 200 meter dash in class 4a in Texas which tells me even before I lay eyes on him that he's one of the best athletes in the country, not just the state because other than maybe 5a, Cali or Florida there's probably not many faster kids in the United States at that distance. He's 6-3 and had better than a 6-1 td to int ratio last year to go along with over 6000 career passing yards. Oh yeah, he's just a junior. These people know what they're doing and Art Briles isn't going to compromise his program for a name. What is Aaron going to do if RCII commits to Utah? They both have offers to three of the same schools matter of fact.

I think Sharps arm strength and super slim build have teams worried about him being a D1 qb. He is a smart kid but i dont know if he could take the hits at the big time college level. I know they list him at 190 but i would be shocked if he weighed that in full pads.
Sharp has 13 D1 offers....2 are athlete offers. According to Sharp he's 189lbs, and that's after he lost weight to win 3 gold medals in the STATE track meet. Randall Cunning jr is 6'5 185.....everybody that KNOWS Football, know that college training put the weight on you ;)

No way Sharp is that heavy. He might be 175. We've never seen Sharp take a hard hit. I'm worried about him taking a hit from a 300lb D1 defender. He's gotta put on muscle n weight.

Sharp should light up the region this year.

Well according to his time, 21.19 he still would have placed in STATE in the 5a meet. And yes he is an athlete. Sharp played WR some in little league, and was one of the best . So I'm sure he would be successful as an athlete if he was to play it in college. RC2 won't go there because Utah doesn't have a track team. He's going where he can do both sports, track and Football

Who is offended?? Lol, why would I get offended, I haven't read any where you said something bad about this kid. Texas and Baylor offered athlete from my understanding......remember its hard to get a QB offer and he has 11 for QB

Keep in mind Broncopride is from Dayton. They have probs recognizing D1 talent.
ever heard of Cody Green? (just to name 1, i could list more)
Yeah ...he went to Tulsa Junior College.  He might get picked up in the 4th round of the NFL draft.  I mean really Buddy we're talking about TOP D1 talent coming from Summer Creek prime stock.

    • I personally hope PN-G gets 2nd gets to the 2nd round wins the flip against SOC and drag them them to Houston to play
    • I like option number two, PNG and Nederland both win. Nederland i’ll be the district champion, number 1 seed or whatever you want to call it. Yes I know that if two or three teams tie with the same record, they will be called co-champions and everyone gets a trophy. One team however will go in as the first place team in district and will play the fourth place team in the bi-district round. If PNG and Nederland both win, Nederland will be #1. • Virginia has same day voter registration. A person can literally walk in to the voting location, register and then vote. So the premise that Virginia might be stopping people with a legitimate right to vote is nonsense. From what I gather in the news report, assuming that the ones I have read are correct, the people that were removed, filled out a drivers license registration and marked that they were not an American citizen. Could the person have made a mistake bychecking the box incorrectly? Although unlikely it is certainly possible. That same person who was removed can go into the same voting location where he would have voted and again, complete a voter registration and then vote.  That went into the Supreme Court’s decision.  If such a person votes by registering on election day, he fills out a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots are not originally counted and or not counted unless needed. For example….  Statewide there are 500 provisional ballots cast. A person wins the election by 4,000 votes. That would be no need to count the provisional ballots as it will not matter. Then let’s say there are 5,000 provisional ballots cast in the election. One candidate then wins the election by only 1,500 votes. In that case, the election could definitely swing on those provisional ballots. The state will then investigate each person to make sure they live at the correct address listed and that they are American citizens. If these things are correct, the vote will then be counted. Safe Harbor is not untillll…… I think December 17th this year so there will be six weeks to verify the provisional ballots if needed. The purging of the names of people who checked a state form saying that they were not an American citizen, will not stop that same person from voting.
